20 months post explant

WORTH IT$5,366
I am updating on health changes since my last post.
Progress and improvement now is less regular and less noticeable because I am getting better :) and there is less to improve. Over the last few months I thought I had stopped improving because things seemed to reach a plateau but in the last 6 weeks I have noticed a further increased tolerance to more exercise. As previously described exercise would trigger all symptoms significantly.
In the last 6 weeks I have noticed a jump in the amount of low impact exercise I can do over one day from about 1 hour max to 2 about hours with no significant symptoms arising over the following next 48 hours. However, if I try to increase the intensity of the exercise (even a small amount) some symptoms show the next day, for example brain fog, feelings of 'flatness' in energy and slight burning in the nodules in my arm where silicone has gathered. I can completely live without doing more intense exercise and I remain so happy I had the implants out and I am enjoying 're-living'. I wouldn't say that I am in a normal functioning range yet but I would say that if progress continues over the next year or two I see some hope that I might get there :). Appearance of my breasts has not changed since last post and pics x

Incredible that you are feeling better and the pictures speak volumes with the rash you had!! You look great!
I am probably about the same size as you now post explant and working out is so much better , more energy, feel stronger, less joint pain especially in shoulders. I knew they needed to come out, my body was telling me loud n clear but I didn't want to deal with it for years. So happy to be on the other side, just purchased new bathing suits which yes I have itty bitties but I feel great! wishing you continued healing

I didn't expect to be posting again so soon but having experienced another significant improvement in my energy I wanted to share this...
You will see from my previous posts that improvements in my physical health have been steady since around 12 week explantation with some symptoms improving at different rates.
In the last 3-4 weeks (16 month post explant), I have experienced a further significant increase in my overall energy and the rash on my torso which had only marginally improved up until now has also improved quite alot ( the most to date).
I have still not changed anything else at all in my lifestyle only having the implants and capsules removed.
Implants made me so ill , and I am continuing regretting ever had them in particularly as my health continues to improve.

Can you tell me if your weight changed much from preimplantation to explant ? I am having mine removed next month after 17 years. Not planning on having a lift done.
Hi , my weight has not changed significantly, but i have always been a small build. i actually lost muscle mass when i was ill because i couldn't do any exercise. I hope to regain my muscle now over time with the ability for increased exercise.
i wish you well in your recovery and if you have been ill with unexplained symtoms its very likely the implants are a factor - please be patient though the body takes time to recover - noticed nothing for the first 12 weeks xx

Post explant. 1 year and 3 months

Picture post ex plant (240cc) - 1 year and 3 months on...
1 year and 3 months post explant (240cc) The lines near my right breast are just from the sports top I have been wearing today! Scars healed well and no overly obvious sagging of tissue from implants.

How are you feeling after getting rid of the toxicity!? I can't wait to rid of mine. October. You look great btw. Just the way nature intended ;)
Thank you , still getting used to how I look but so glad they are out because my health has improved so much- the only thing I regret is not having them out sooner! Feel soooooo much better :) Best and warmest wishes to you - be patient and kind to yourself on this journey, I'm sure you wont regret it x
Thank-you. This all sound encouraging. Xx
