Breast Implant Illness Survivor Thanks to Dr.Floyd

WORTH IT
I had En-Bloc total capsulectomy surgery (breast explant) with Dr.Floyd and it was the best decision of my life! I was suffering terribly from Breast Implant Symptoms and he was the only surgeon who believed me. His secretary Sheila was a superstar in helping me get an appointment during quarantine and got me a date for surgery as soon as they became available. I am extremely happy with my results and even though I have very tiny boobs now, at least I have my life back!
Ps.I had one breast larger than the other naturally.

Hi
Glad your feeling better. I am due to have enbloc with lift just trying to organise a date due to covid. What hospital did you go to ?
How was the after care ?
All the best

I had it at the Wellington Hospital. Staff were great and Dr.Floyd sees you the next day before you go home to make sure everything is fine. Aftercare is very common sense, don’t lift anything heavy, don’t lift your arms for a couple of weeks, keep the dressings dry for 7 days. They will give you an aftercare package and Sheila (his secretary) is always happy to answer any questions.

Thank you for sharing! Are you starting to feel better after the surgery as far as your BII symptoms? I do hope! I am looking into breast explant surgery myself and considering all options (en bloc, lift, etc). You did not have a lift, did you? The results look just beautiful!

Mine were ruptured and had to be removed. The replacement and drain tubes and pain meds is where this all started
