Different shapes 10 weeks post op

WORTH IT$8,596
10 week update. As you'll see there is a pretty obvious difference in shape of each breast. One was always slightly bigger than the other. Pre op my consultant advised that asymmetry was one of the risks I could encounter. He was right. But this doesn't bother me. I'm happy with the appearance of the scars considering I'm only 10 weeks in.

I have experienced some discomfort with scar tissue building up in one of the breasts. About 2 weeks ago my left breast started to feel like it had half a tennis ball in it. I'll hold my hands up and admit I didn't not massage religiously twice a day. I went back to the consultant and he said I MUST make time to massage the breasts twice daily. Since then I'm done this. Whilst it was really painful for the first 4 days, I've now come out the other side and they're so much softer and far less painful.

I learnt a big lesson! Ladies please make sure you massage the scars after surgery :)

Thanks for the tip! I have to say, I probably would have been like you in not massaging. I'll make it a point to now! I go in for my post op on the 7th. I can't wait to have these implants out. I bet you feel so much better for having them out. I hope my boobs come out as nice as yours. Its been 25 years since I've seen my real boobs!
I wish you all the best. Definitely the right decision. I should have done this a long time ago. X

Week 4

Week 4 today. Changing the sicone tape so thought I'd post pics of the scar progress. Nipple and vertical scars looking good. The horizontal crease scars still have a way to go but hopefully they will remain thin as they heal.

Wow! You look great! I'm having a consultation in a few weeks to get an explant and lift. So scared! If I turn out like you, I will be thrilled! I as a AA too, like you.
Thank you so much. When I was reading other reviews I'd look at people and hope so much I'd have a little something to fill a bra. I never thought in a million years I'd have what I have come out with because I was so flat chested before. Have faith. I really hope yours goes well if you proceed x
Ha! Im having that same feeling in filling in a bra! I've had my implants for over 20 years and just had a mammogram that showed it has ruptured. So I definitely want them out. I was thinking of getting fat transfer but after seeing yours I may not!
Thank you so much in sharing your journey.
Oh wow!!! I love seeing your updates, I think your surgery results are the best I’ve seen. You must be so happy with your results, because I would be. They look fab xx
Ah that's amazing to hear. Honestly, the support on this group is so amazing. Thank you xx
Thank you for sharing. Who was your dr for the removal?
Hi there. It was Dr Dean Boyce.

Still really please. Second glimps at my scars today while changing the tape. Tape will be in place for a further 4 weeks.

Nipple and vertical scars healing so well. The under boob crease is a little more sore but apparently it takes a little longer to heal under there.
Never though I'd see the day where I was happy to have my small boobs back, but I am :).

Thank-you for sharing you look very good. Soon you won't even see scars as the silicone pads work well.
Thank you. Yes the silicone tape seems to be doing the trick. I will. Start using a silicone gel in 4 weeks to massage into the scars.
Did your surgeon give you an idea of what you would look like without the lift? I’m trying to decide whether to explant and lift or wait and see how explant goes. I’m similar size to you.
He said it was difficult to say. He did ask me to explant first and allow the skin to retract. I could then have a lift at a later date if required. I didn't have the funds or time to have 2 procedures so decided to just go for it and have the explant and lift at the same time
Ok thanks a lot! :)
2 week to my surgery - thank-you for giving me confidence to make the change. I am very excited to see all the different bathing suit tops I will be able to wear.

Glad you are healing well! CD
Yes. I'm excited to buy new clothing too. I hope you have a good recovery and are happy with the end result. Its not as bad as I imagined. No where near x
