Hi Everyone
Here are my five week post op pictures. I have stopped using the micro pore tape and using Avene water spray along my stitches, I’ll start the E45 moisturizer in the next few days then after the six weeks I’ll start the silicon scar treatment. Does anyone recommend a scar treatment?

Oh my lord :( glad they took the capsules out, no more silicon :) just as well you’ve had the toxic bags removed god knows where the silicon can go. I have what they call snowflakes in my armpits it’s silicon in my under arm lymph nodes:( so glad they are out ... xx
Why do we do this to ourselves!!!! Snuggled on the sofa.. waiting for a cuppa.

Anyway Theyapostop bras.com are the ones I was given at the hospital but I found them not too supportive so I purchased from lipoelastic.co.uk but if your looking for comfort look at the Theya post op bras. I paid £92 for two post op bras from lipoelastic they have an online shop. I think Theya might be more up your street as they are softer and not so firm. I got mine from the hospital so I’m not too sure what they cost

Did you soak your boobs when showering ?? I’ve bern kind of being quick and careful. I still have the tape on the cuts.. do you think it’s ok to soak them off now.. hoping my new bra gets here soon. X

I was told not to get the tape wet for the first week so no shower the first week just strip wash. Once I had my first dressing change at one week I was able to shower, the tape dries quite quickly but I used my hairdryer on low heat if getting dressed as the tape felt damp. Try not to get your tape wet until you see the doctor I wouldn’t take the tape off wait to see the dr.

My bra arrived .. it’s much better thank you for suggesting it... It must be slightly different to yours doesn’t seem as high in the front..think I’ll order another one later. Gill x

It will get easier I found day 3 the worst but sleeping upright on your back takes a bit of getting used to. Did they remove the drains yesterday or do you still have them in? I found that part painful I’m still sore where the drains were. Get plenty of rest and no heavy lifting.
Drink plenty of water to flush the drugs out of your system your be surprised what they pump into you during surgery. I’m fine hun xx

I’m going to try and do a picture.. but it said it was too big to send. But I’m sure I did it that way before.You had a huge surgery mine was pretty minimal in comparison. X
Glad we are both the other side :) try to reduce the number of pictures sometimes 3 is too much x
It was only one. But I’m rubbish at this stuff. I panic myself where it’ll end up.!! A picture of my jugs on some place it shouldn’t be!
I'm finally on the other side too! Surgery yesterday went really smoothly. I wanted to write but I kept falling asleep :)

Post op compression bra
I purchased two new compression bras from lipoelastic.co.uk yesterday.
They are cotton and extremely supportive much more than the bra I was given at the hospital called Theya. I was suffering with skin irritation from the Theya brand plus they were riding up under my breast scars which was painful. I went to lipoelastics showroom in london but they have a good online shop.
My new bras are really supportive much more so than the Theya.
Theya was made with bamboo nylon and polyester my new bras are cotton. Hope this helps someone.

New post op bras Cotton
Just posting pictures of my new post op compression bras. Extremely supportive much more than the one given at the hospital Theya. I was suffering from irritation especially my upper back so looked into finding a cotton bra. If you go to lipoelastic.co.uk you will see the range. I went to the showroom in london as I wanted to be measured but the online shop is great too.

How long after surgery did you finally know what size you were going to end up with? I want to go bra shopping, but I have no idea what size I'll be after explant & lift.
Your surgeon should be able to give you an idea what size you will be, I still haven’t been measured for cup size as I only bought two post op bras which are just SML so I’ll get a measurement when I can from a bra shop but I’ve read you measure under band then at your fullest point the difference then is your cup size, if you look online it tells you the cup size depending on that difference. Swelling can take up to three months so I’ll get measured nearer the time as I’m only 4 weeks post op.
I bought the size bras I was pre implants!!! Are they supposed to be tight????

I had it on the 19th May.. have Covid test at 9.30 am tomorrow.. then using the wash and isolating.!!
Will leave here at 6.30 on Wednesday.. for 7.30 ....

I’d wait and just buy your post op compression bras then during your recovery you can get measured properly there’s a lot of swelling post op so after your fully healed go shopping. Xx

Yes slept bit better last night thanks. I’ve ordered one of those bras you have got. Hoping that will be more comfortable. I’ve tried putting a picture up this morning . But I don’t think it worked.. I managed to wash my hair and dry it..Have check up on Tuesday. How are you doing?? Xx
I see Mr Floyd on the 12th July for the follow up appointment stitches seem to be healing ok. I’ve asked Mr Floyd to give me a list of all the medications given to me during the op I’m just trying to make sure I don’t have a reaction again if I ever have another general.
