After 5 years big boobies, implant removal with lift

I noticed I haven't replied to a lot of comments and messages...

First off, I probably have the sh*ttiest camera on all of RealSelf, haha...but okay, you can still see what's going on!

I’ve posted a few different photos to clarify why I’m having this minor operation on the fold under my left breast in October. In darker lighting, you can see that my left breast has a small dent right next to the scar line, and in the other photo, you can see there's a weak point/space in the fold, so that is what's bothering me because it changes the shape of my breast. So that's going to be corrected, and hopefully it will look like the photo where I'm adjusting it myself.. I also took a photo sitting down to give you a clearer view of my 9 year old scars (with better lighting this time :-))... I do microneedle them from time to time, it doesn't hurt because I don't have much sensation in or around the scar area anyway.

Re-reading my story from the beginning made me notice that I'm so positive, but I have to admit I've definitely had my emotional moments. Just look at those photos... Sharing all of this is probably the most vulnerable story of my life. It’s been quite a journey. I truly hope other women can draw strength from this all. Right after explant, things can look tough, but your body changes so much over time. And I don't take any kind of hormones.. so this is just my body changing..

I see a lot of women with AA or A cup opting for very simple bralettes after explant. While those are super comfortable, I hope you never doubt your own attractiveness! Personally, I’ve got my confidence back quite soon after explant, and I want that for all of you too. I’m sharing some photos of the lingerie I love, still comfortable bralettes. I hope you give yourself a chance to feel wonderful looking in that mirror. I’ve completely moved away from push-up bras, and honestly, I go bra-free most of the time! At 38, I’ve truly embraced that 'Je m'en fous' attitude, haha...

I might post another update in October after that small operation, but if not, I'll update next year, which will actually be my final update, marking a full 10-year review. Most people stop posting updates after just one year... I don't even know if anyone is still reading this, but if you are, I truly hope you can draw some strength from my story. Take care!

Can't believe it has been 9 years since my explant surgery. 9 years silicone-free, and I am finally feeling completely good in my own skin again.
Funny enough, my breasts have been looking a lot fuller these past few months. I don't know if I weigh more than I did two years ago, and I'm definitely not pregnant, but I did start beta-blockers three months ago. Maybe it's just fluid retention, but I’m certainly not complaining, it’s very welcome!
Next up: a quick scar correction this October to fix the fold on one side that didn't heal perfectly. So grateful for how far my body has come.
