I am 51 and was just tired all the time, have Hashimoto's Thyroid, and definitely feeling autoimmune related arthritis among other issues. I was just READY to say goodbye to these big old friends. These were my last set installed 11 years back. Previously I had 350 saline, then 425 saline, then 550-600 saline, then after large scar tissue removed from awful miscarriage encapsulated at FF cup size, replaced with 700 silicone. So almost 20 years with implants. They had a good run, but I am not the same person as before. I am ok with me now and wish my younger self had been more confident. I'm 5'10 and 180 lbs. I explanted yesterday! The only on is not being able to do more Lipo for fat transfer at this time. Lol. I'm completely confident in my choice to explant! Dr. Waltzman is an amazing doctor who I met initially for Melanoma removal. I knew he was detail oriented and puts the patient as a priority. Amazing person and highly skilled physician

Congratulations! I explanted yesterday, as well. Could hardly wait to get rid of them. Unlike you, I had one set of 350cc’s that I hated for over 20 years. I have no idea what’s going on underneath the bandages but whatever it is, I’m going to be happy with it because it’s all me! I’m 61 and thrilled to put on a shirt I used to safety pin. You know the whole gaping shirt thing? LOL. Bandages and all, it lays flat!!! I hope everything goes smoothly for you and you feel better everyday!

I’m still trying to navigate posting pics here. I’m very happy. The drains are a bit rough as I must “milk” them or they leak where inserted below my breast. Can’t wait to get them out Tuesday. I already feel better.
