I’ve just hd my post op check up day after surgery and I got it wrong . Most of capsule WAS removed (I thought it wasn’t) and all looked normal and okay.
So happy I made this decision . Rest today then early fly home tomorrow :)

I have a bit more pain now both very manageable and these drains are a pain, a lot of fluid still so I imagine they will be in for a while. Other than that I feel so relieved to have those foreign objects out of my body!
Me too! I feel such a big difference already. I'm convinced now it was them that have made me poorly . Xxx

Hi all glad everyone is doing well after explant! I too was able to have my surgery on the 5th(found out Tues an opening was for next morn:DI didn’t want to wait until the 26th). Total capsulectomy, No drains, found out my 20yr old implants were textured(thought they were smooth:/) and I am not strapped down. One looks fantastic, the other looks scooped out on the bottom, small & disfigured:(. Hoping they will settle a bit with time. Still VERY sore and Happy to have the toxic bags out(husband is blown away at how heavy the implants are lol). Has anyone else experienced these things? Suggestions on true compression bras and detox tips? Thank you so much ladies & I am so Happy to hear everything went well for you:).
So pleased for you. I'm in a compression bandage for two weeks to stop breasts filling with fluid and to get them to stick back internally . No drains and also scar tissue removed xx
Hi, glad all I’d going well for you. I have drain so am not wearing a compression bra, just a tight sports bra.
Atm I’m just having green smoothie, veg and protein and soups, right now I’m focused more on recovery but in another week or so will like to detox too!
Hi Greg0704, Thank you so much for answering my questions, I am Pleased for you as well! I assumed I would be wrapped tightly also but I just have a basic surgery bra on. Seriously thinking about wrapping myself to see if it helps with swelling/pain. I hope & Pray all of us will have a speedy, healthy recovery.:)

Awww thank you. It's a week today since surgery. One more week till I am see the 'girls' (I'm still in a compression bandage) How are you doing ? Xx
Hey, I am sure you will be very happy when u see your results in a week. I am 4 weeks post surgery now and i am already seeing a little improvement. I had a big B cup with implants and now have a normal A Cup, but i find it so much better for my posture and have so much strength and positive energy. My nipples are still so stretched and sinking in, but my doc said that he reccomends me to wait one year before thinking on making the areola smaller or doing some kind of a lift. I hope as well to have one more baby next year, after recovering, and hope only for the best. My hope is in my doc cause he is the only one in Germany doing lots of procedures with laser points and no scars. All the best for u and let me know about your feelings after you see the "girls".xxx
I've seen the girls today ! I was allowed to remove compress for sports bra ! Omg they look amazing . I'm so lucky. Look just like before xxxx

Hey there, Had drains out on Wednesday and ultrasound today to confirm there’s no more fluid, feels so much better, but still burns a bit inside as Dr cauterised what was left of capsule. I’m wearing two bra to make sure it’s tight. I just feel so much better feel like me again. How are you hun? I guess your dying to have a peek one more week!
Ahh I'm so glad you're feeling better ! How are they looking ? Are you happy? I actually took my compression wrap off this morning and have put on a tight fitting sports bra instead. It was starting to loosen and just not fit the same anymore - I presume swelling has reduced . It feels so good to be ME again!! Xxx

Day of treatment

Surgery day !!

So today was surgery day. I’m now recovering in my hotel before flying home on Saturday.
Surgery went well. Capsule was very thin as implants were only in for just under 12 months so it was safer to leave them in rather than causing damage to ribs etc .
Compression bandage is on. That’s the only uncomfortable part I have experienced. It’s so tight to keep boobs flat so they don’t fill with fluid it’s making my ribs ache round my back. Other than that I feel amazing in myself and I’m so happy I did this :)

Today’s the day I fly out

So it’s 3am I’m about to leave for the airport to fly over to Belgium . I have my pre op with my surgeon this afternoon and surgery is tomorrow morning ! Soooo excited now the day is here .... I’ll update after my pre op :)
