52 Years Old Getting my 22year Old Breast Implants Removed

Day of treatment

Post operation-day 1

Yesterday was day of operation, on the morning of my op I was having major doubts however I soon snapped out of it once I spoke to the lovely nurses who put me at ease. I was taken to my room which was pleasant and comfortable I unpacked as I was staying overnight. I had a visit from my consultant (Nick Collis) who took photos and discussed my procedure, he was very professional and made me feel at ease the whole time. I was second on the list so I didn’t have to wait to long to be taken down to theatre. Once I was there I was given loads of reassurance and the nurse held my hand as I drifted off to sleep. I woke up in recovery pain free just very sleepy, once I was taken to my room I slept for a couple of hours and once I woke I was still pain free. I had one drain attached with just getting my left capsule removed, left implant was grade 4 and my right was grade 1. I was give a support bra and that’s when I checked out my breast which looked great! All natural -explanation only. I asked if I could go home the same day as I felt great!! But was advised I had to wait and speak to the consultant later to see if this could be possible, he agreed Yey! Due to having A small amount of blood in my drain, I was up and about and passed urine just fine. I arrived home and took some paracetamol and went to bed, I woke up pain free this morning (very early) so I decided to give a little update.

52 Years Old Getting my 22year Old Breast Implants Removed

Well it’s Monday 7th December and my surgery is booked for Thursday 10th December. I’m now starting to feel a tad anxious about my decision but I know it’s the right thing to do for my health. I have one breast harder than the other, not painful just a bit uncomfortable at times. It has helped me so much reading all these reviews and before and after photos thank you so much!! I do worry what my breasts will look like however my consultant said I have a lot of breast tissue so I’m hoping for the best. I will update you with before and after photos of my journey forward.
