Hello Everyone, first of all thank you all for sharing your stories! I've been following for a few years and have finally been (financially as well as emotionally) able to schedule my appt for explant and lift. I got implants in 2000. I just added 280cc and 300 in the other and loved them for a long time. I went from a small 34B to a full 34C cup. Then...I had babies and developed hypothyroid with Hashimotos! I started growing and gained 20 pounds and ended up with a 34DDD at age 46. They are also quite saggy. I've hesitated to have them removed because I don't have any scars now and hate to mess that up and also I'm afraid of losing nipple sensitivity..that said I can NOT wait for my nipples to be back where they belong and to be able to wear sundresses and scarves again!! ! I met with 4 doctors over the last few months and finally talked my husband into it so I'm scheduled to go under on June 5. I know we are all different but any advice on scarring and general is great appreciated!!

We won't be far apart. My surgery is scheduled for May 28th. I'm 50 with 14 yo 400/350cc saline under the muscle smooth implants. I'm just over it and want them off my chest.

@Sookiebird I completely understand that! Are you getting a lift also?

@wkchrist - did you lose nipple sensitivity? I have a very similar situation with 20 year old implants (second set) and that is one of my biggest fears.

I’m 12 days post op and feel SO good!! I actually feel lighter. The bruising and scarring are tough to look at but I like time will heal that. I can’t believe how much better I look in clothing that I didn’t even realize I was avoiding! I took pain pills for 3 days but probably didn’t need them that long:) I’m still too sore to sleep on my side but feel good other than that! Dr Ghazi was amazing.
