Finding a bra

WORTH IT
I learned from this process that I have wide and shallow breasts. After the op the skin in my cleavage was very loose.
I recommend waiting and getting a fitting. The bra that worked for me did not have a rounded cupshape - it had a flatter and longer under bustline. It has padding that scoops up. And it is soft and comfortable for me. The name is Intimissimi brand, Gioia Super Push-Up Style.
I went for two fittings. I spent one hour finding my size and the style I liked. Then I came back a week later and tried on that style again to be sure it fit well. I learned that the hooks should be on the second smallest fitting, and to lean forward to scoop myself into place. I found one where I did not overflow on the larger boob and did not collapse inside the smaller cup.
I have attached some photos to help.

Wow you look Fantastic! I love the bra and tips for fitting after explant! I cannot wait, I see ps tomorrow for consult. I hope to do as well as you have done after your explant. Prayers for continued healing:)
Thanks and good luck. Hope the consultation went well.
Amazing result very lucky
I think you look great and your skin has retracted amazingly well as if it's never been stretched out by implants at all! Did your breast look similar before?I'm having mine taken out tomorrow and I'm so hoping to get back the breast I had or something close at leat. like you I'm not having the capsules removed an I'm confident that's the right choice for me. I feel it's less invasive to leave the capsules instead of having them cut out.
Good luck in your surgery and have a speedy recovery.
@lingon were you having any health issues? Having the capsules removed is especially important to detox your body. Your body will not reabsorb them. Hope all is well.
If you're looking for a bit more fullness, you could try cupping. I think you've healed and slightly fluffed rather nicely. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.

Hope everyone is well. Here are some update pics.

I can do 13 push-ups now, slowly building strength. Cleared out my wardrobe and found some things fit so much better while others just had to go.

Physically and mentally it was the right choice.

Oh wow! They are so beautiful! That is an awesome result and I’m very glad for you! I also had to let a bunch of clothes go, I felt really good about it!
Thanks, I am relieved considering how many worried hours I spent here trying to make the decision.

How are you?
I’m doing great! I’m focused on my health, exercising and eat healthy! Thank you!

Nearly 6 weeks

I found bras to wear under work clothes - followed all the advice online for fitting and style for wide and shallow breasts and tada!

Everything else is good. Full functionality back, scars healing, I do not miss the implants at all! Love it. I have been taking fenugreek seeds daily since 2 weeks post-op. Very unscientific, but I figured since it helps with breast feeding and has some estrogen effects it wouldn’t hurt.

Am I happy with my size? I don’t even think about that anymore - what’s the point? I can’t control it. Am I happy with my choices - 100%.

Love and strength to all.

Well said! I don’t think about the size and I’m 100% happy with my choices as well. You look great !
You look great!! what company did you order bras from, they are so nice.
Thanks. They are H&M! I did not want to spend too much money on them just in case there are more changes.
thank you!
Where did you find bras . Bra shopping has left me feeling super deformed and defeated . I have flat wide breasts , A cups and B cups don’t fit ... seems only bralettes or sports bras work . I’m 8 weeks post op and they’re still taking shape I guess .... what’s that bra brand ?
Oh I feel you. Are you too wide for an A and too small for a B?

Initially I did H&M as I didn’t want to waste money. And I did suddenly change shape and started collapsing inside the cups.

I am nearly 5 months post now and I found a spectacular bra - Intimissimi Gioia Super Push-up. It just scoops everything into place and gives cleavage out of my lovely little pancakes. They are also very soft and comfortable to wear. And since I have small boobs I also want eye-catching bras.

By the way - I took two one hour session with a fitting. I went and got fitted, then wrote down the bras and size and went back a week later to see if they still felt the same. Once I found the shape that worked for me, it was so good.

The problem is with the bras! We have a very specific fit and your bra is out there waiting for you.

Can you get Intimissimi where you live? I can try to do another post with specifics on the bra so you can look for it in another brand/shop.
It’s almost like I’m even too wide for a c cup but I’m basically flat so bralettes it is ! I had 750 cc implants so they just need to fully close and heal. I still have a little bit of a double bubble from my old pocket which was large and natural breasts which are naturally an A cup ... I just started the pill and they are starting to swell and grow a bit so I’ll wait a few months to buy bras as they are still sorting them selves out . They’re a little janky when I bend but they look nice , I’m happy and feel amazing !
That would be great if you can post updated pics and bras ! I’m 9 weeks now so they’re still a little weird but I do see some “puffing” . I have lost all my tissue under neath my breasts so they’re a little flat and weird at the bottom . I can see my old pocket as I’m starting to see that swelling go away and starting to see my natural breast line ! It takes a long time to heal . I feel healed but I don’t look healed if that makes sense! I will say the pill is super helping to perk them out ! Also started training chest and I have 10 extra lbs on me to try to help them ! Naturally an A cup , 130 lbs
