Stitches out 2 weeks post op

WORTH IT$3,995
So I got my stitches out! It’s been exactly 2 weeks since surgery. I was very nervous...and it took not even 5 minutes. Ive had bandages on the past 2 weeks that I have had on since surgery. I was able to get them sorta wet in the shower and they did not come off. So he took off the bandages which yes it was unpleasant...I wouldn’t say it hurt it just felt a little tender. Next he took the stitches out which I felt a slight pinch but again no pain just weird. Now I feel so much better like I’m further in my recovery. So they gave me scar gel to apply twice a day on the incisions. He has cleared me for exercise and swimming in one week (3 weeks total since surgery). Also he is happy with my progress and he will not need to go in and remove any internal sutures. I have a f/u appt in 1 month. Some days I’ve been having kind of like a dull ache that feels deep in the tissue/muscle but I’m sure that’s just everything healing. So far I’m very very happy with the results and everyday gets better!

Looks beautiful! Amazing how quick the skin adjusts to its new conditions without implants. Compared to the scar I had after my 2 Ceasarians these look really flat, thin and light already. Wish you all the best in your recovery. Thanks for sharing!
It truly is amazing!! Thank you so much :)
They look so good! I had my 13 year old implants out a week ago. But at the moment one breast is far bigger than the other!?
I’m hoping they settle a bit more!
How do you feel about yours?
I’m so happy just to be back to me!
Thank you!! I feel great and I am so happy to have my little boobs back, so much more comfortable! Hopefully ur just having some swelling, I’m sure it will go down over time :) One thing I miss is having the upper pole but honestly I’m so excited to wear cute tops. I feel like not having the implants make us look younger ;)
Haha! I agree! I feel lovely without them!
Congrats! I am one week post-op today and similar size/story as yours. I AM SO HAPPY TOO! I agree with everything you have posted about feeling younger and lighter. Cheers to being ourselves!! :)
Cheers!! Happy to hear ur feeling good too :) I’m at 3 weeks and everyday is better and better
My congratulations. Thank you for your story. You said that the doctor had moved the crease up. Could you please tell me how this prosedure has been done?
Thank you!! I should correct my post he did not raise my crease. What he did was sort of like an internal lift. He placed the nipples where he wanted them to be and used internal sutures to keep them in place.
Thanks for the information. Your result is very good
Wow your skin bounced right back! Excellent result!

1 week post op

Finally feeling better...it’s an emotional rollercoaster just wanting to feel normal again. Since I had a Capsulectomy and internal sutures I think it’s taking a little longer to heal. I think the swelling is starting to go down. Getting stitches out in a week.

So thankful for your updates and story. Have a scheduled Explant on september 11 and are dealing with anxiety since I have capsule and possible a leaking implantat as well.
Oh no, do u have silicone or saline? The recovery period is uncomfortable with Capsulectomy but honestly u have a lot more mobility with ur arms/upper body than with original BA. Please don’t worry yourself too much and hang in there :)
I am 3 days post explant under local. I want to wear a compression bra but finding it hard to find the right one. Have you worn one or just a reg sports bra?
Did you have your implants removed en bloc?
I explanted 8 days ago . My PS did enbloc , which is the right way to have your implants removed or capsulectomy . But I’ve never heard of this been done under local anesthesia . My PS provided 2 compression bra for me ( they are a bit small tho :( I can’t drive so am using what he gave me . I do have a sport bra . Don’t like the material tho :( if you find a comfy one you are ok wearing one . I ask my PS and he said it’s fine . Happy healing
I’ve just been wearing fruit of the loom front clasp sports bra
You look great and give me hope! I was a 32 A/B when I got 275cc gummy bears 9 years ago... I’m a 32DD now. If I look anywhere as good as you do after explant I’ll be so happy. Will be following you.
Yay thank you so much!! It is truly amazing how the body bounces back. With 275cc u will do great :) Best wishes on ur journey!
I am getting mine out today. I have not thought about it until now! I am about to take a shower to leave. I was wondering about the pain. I hope it's not to bad. So I am checking reviews. A 4 is good! I hope it goes easy like yours.
Good luck with your surgery!! It’ not bad at all ull do great! Worst part is just wanting to be healed and exercise :)
Thank you. It went well. Dr.said the needed to come out. She said they were all broken apart. I had silicone. She said they were all over the place. I am feeling off today from the anesthesia. But not sore yet. I hope you are doing well! Thank you for your reply.

Day 2 Post Op

I am day 2 post op and I am back to work. I only took two days off work, one for the surgery and one for the day after. Luckily I have a desk job but I do feel out of it and tired. As far as pain goes, it’s still pretty intense, like a burning feeling. I’m not on pain meds anymore I have been taking Ibuprofen. I am hoping to have a breakthrough with the pain soon. I am going to have my stitches out in two weeks. Also I believe the surgeon did internal sutures to tack up my breast tissue? And he says he may have to release the sutures. I’m not exactly sure what he means by that but we will see what happens. As far as appearance goes I am happy, I have more breast tissue than I thought but maybe it’s just swelling? I’m just happy to be another day further in my recovery.
