I thought very long and hard about how I was going...

I thought very long and hard about how I was going to word this review being as though I am only 6 days post op and I am not able to really speak on my results because I am still swollen and bruised. But, what I can tell you about is my AWFUL experience with the team at Mia Aesthetics. Initially when I went for my consultation with dr Alvarez and the team at Mia Aesthetics in October I was completely satisfied and happy with the energy and atmosphere in the office. Thus, making me want to chose Mia to be the place where I went ahead and had my 360 Lipo and BBL. After putting down a $500 non-refundable deposit, things began to decline from a customer service stand point. everytime I called to ask a question about my procedure, I could never speak to my “designated rep”, I was constantly speaking with different people, and could never get clear answers to questions I had via Email....moving on..Upon my arrival at Mia Aesthetics for my pre op appointment there was about 30 women in the front lobby all waiting for different things; some waiting for massages, some waiting for pre op appointments, others for consults. It was pure pandemonium, my pre op appointment was for 10 am and I wasn’t seen until about 1:30pm.. it was ridiculous. The next day I came in for surgery and again everything was just rushed and all over the place, even the nurses assistants or MAs, whatever they were were all over the place in the back, I’m not sure if they over booked or what but it made me very scared and uncomfortable because this was my first surgery EVER. After my procedure I felt awful, but that may just be the way my body reacted to the procedure and anesthesia, not really sure...When my partner came and picked me up she asked the nurses “ok what next?, what should we be doing for follow up for today so she’s comfortable?” And the lady just responded to her “get her medicine”. She was nervous and just wanted some aftercare instruction, and it seemed like they were careless. They through me in the back seat of my rental and on to the next... I mean ugh im getting upset just writing...moving on, the next day I came for my first massage and that was actually pretty speedy, but after I was done I wanted to purchase my compression foam and my chair and they didn’t have change for $100. This really just made my laugh because you are a plastic surgery office without any change? Wow. I was just very shocked, but I complied and agreed that I would just get my “after Lipo essentials” Monday when I returned for my second message, when I returned on Monday, again, my massage was good and speedy, but while in the middle of my massage one of the secretaries proceeded to come in and interrupt looking around for something, mind you these massages are painful and cause dizziness, so for her to interrupt, while I am naked and going through a painful massage was ridiculous to me, even more ridiculous my masseuse stopped and left the room to help her look for whatever couldn’t wait until I was done. After that ordeal, I went to the front counter to again attempt to purchase my foam and chair, they advised my that they again did not have change AND they ran out of compression foam... which if you ladies are doing your research you know is EXTREMELY important after surgery. I was honestly just over it, at this point. I came back the next day, bought my foam, and could not wait to never walk in their office again. I do want a breast augmentation later this year but MIA Aesthetics will not be getting another dollar from me. LADIES beware!
