Tuberous Breast Correction

Having tuberous breasts affected my self esteem and made me feel less than. And as a result I settled for less in relationships. I finally had the means to correct my breasts and after literally years of research and weighing the pros and cons I contacted Dr. Jeffrey Hartog's office and set up a consult. I originally wanted breast implants but he explained to me that I had insufficient breast tissue to accomodate an implant and he suggested a donut lift with fat transfer. Size was not the issue for me, I just wanted perky symmetrical breasts with a proportionate areola so I took his suggestion and had the surgery yesterday. He harvested fat from my tummy, thighs, flanks and back via lipsuction gave me a lift and filled my breast with as much fat as he felt comfortable with. The pain in the breast area is tolerable, the worse is the lipo. It feels like I had the toughest workout and then got beat up and then fell down a flight of stairs. I am sore and bruised and I have to wear a compression garment and hose. I had my post op today and it went well. They look a little scary but I am pleased with them so far. I will post an update next week with more pics.

I’m considering doing this... keep us updated!

Wow, they look great so far! What a nice transformation. I also had a donut lift when I had a BA 12 years ago, and just letting you know, don't worry, the areola puckers do go away and become totally smooth within a year. It's just amazing how the body remodels itself after surgery. Mine probably took longer as I was 50 when I went through that procedure. I just had to laugh at your comments about liposuction. So true, that is exactly how I have felt all month. I hear it goes away eventually, haha. I guess I'm just a wussy.

Haha thanks. I have been worried about the puckering. How do you feel about your results now? I have seen many reviewers that are not happy with the longevity of fat transfer to breasts. The doctor also said I could do another fat transfer after about 8 months or at that time I could get implants. Not sure what I will. I really enjoyed hearing about your experience.

Well, I just started posting about my explant, anchor lift and fat transfer from a month ago. So really, it's just a big adjustment to go from very large pendulous breasts with implants to suddenly somewhat dainty 16 year-old breasts, even though I really hated the look before.
I have some more photos to load as well. So far, I like them and I think they will end up nice once they settle a bit more, probably another month or two. I kind of wish I would have gotten all of the lipo out of the way forever, but hey, you just don't realize how difficult that part of the recovery is. Plus, I really don't know how much fat will stick to the girls. I may need to get dips filled in, or they may be just what I want. We will both just be doing that waiting game :)
Personally, would NOT get implants after a fat transfer. Since you have to get them replaced some time in the future, I would be worried about damaging the fat that was so carefully distributed - plus, I think your result looks great.

One week post op

So I had my one week post op. My boobs have gone down significantly so I am afraid I won't retain much. But they are still 100 percent improved from my before. I was told my healing is right on schedule. No need for the compression hose, but I still need to wear the girdle. Pain is really tolerable but still some discomfort. I am only taking the pain pills at night. Still aches from lipo but the bruises are not as bad as they look. He didn't take much from my tummy and I am sad about that. I am just using the surgical tape now on the aereolas. They stay on for 5 to 7 days. Had I known I would have taken pics before so you all could see the nipple incision. Not gonna lie they look bad. Frankenboob bad, but she said that was normal and that the puckering will smooth out and I can discuss scar therapy at my one month post op.

Looks like a lot of improvement in just a week. I can see that the lower pole is starting to relax. So how many cc's did he take out and how many did he put back into you breasts? Don't worry about how the tummy looks, as it takes about 3 to 4 months to get to look right. Some of the other ladies that posted their results spent a LOT of money on massages. I didn't bother as most doctors really don't feel that it makes a difference in the long run. I bet they feel good though.
I can assure you that the puckering does go away, but not right away, and I should have used paper tape for months to prevent the scars from spreading when I had my Benelli (donut lift) years ago.

Looks great! Do you know how much fat did your doctor transfer to your Brest?

Thank you. No. I didn't ask but I have my follow up Aug. 7th. I can ask then and add it to my one month follow up.

Any update? Size still the same or it’s smaller now?
September 10, 2019
I am still an A cup. So I did not go up a size but they are full and perky. The shape is much improved. I love the right breast it has healed so nicely but my left breast is still puckered and smaller. I am hoping that once the aereola smooths out the asymmetry will be less noticeable. I am gonna do another pic update and you'll see what I mean.

Thank you for starting a review, I wish you well on your journey and look forward to your updates.
