Pre-Op

Starting this review today- procedure is tomorrow! So far, the scheduling, consult, payment transparency, price and communication with staff has been really great. Was even able to get added at a different clinic on short notice for a facial procedure (undecided which, appointment this afternoon). I will update as things happen.

Procedure Day 4/23/21

KatieCNM
Had my procedure today in NC, at Complete Laser Cliinic in Nebo. Dr Lee Turner was the surgeon (technically a general surgeon who specializes in cosmetic procedures, not a plastic surgeon FYI) Almost home to Cleveland. The lipo discomfort oozing and swelling is no joke! Only downside to hopping in the car immediately post op, probably hasn’t helped that...
Overall happy with the amount transferred. Recent weight loss in the last 18 months of about 45-50#, in combination with age and breastfeeding 4 kids for about 6 years total, left my breasts somewhat unhappy. I was wanting more in my upper pole, and a bit of asymmetry corrected (which I’ve had all of my life, since having boobs lol).
I had the fat harvested from anterior and posterior flanks only. Was told 1100cc total of fat. Had 350 put in my left breast, 400 in my right
(attempt to correct asymmetry). I feel like still noticeable asymmetry, however we all know there are so many changes through the healing process, undetermined amount of retention etc. so just going to wait and see..
My before marked up pic is in a mirror, so left is actually my left (larger). The others have the left, larger breast, on the right of the photo. The second pic is lying in table just after waking up, third is sitting up on OR table just after waking up.
For stats- I’m 41yo, 5’7”, was 156# on their scale this morning. 4 babies 22,15,13,10- breastfed for @ 6 years combined with all of them.
Side note- I think the biggest contributor to my unhappy breasts was weight loss. I weighed 199# June of 2019, 189# January of 2020 was down to 151# this past fall. Weight loss from intermittent Fasting.... works wonders for me. I’m mostly maintaining now, and a little worried what to do over the next few months to not lose fat. My 3 boys’ father had brain cancer, recently declined quickly, on hospice since January. He passed away three weeks ago, so I think stress of all that has had me eating crummy, so I feel like my body composition is very different from even a few months ago.
Anyways- I’ll keep everyone posted as things change!

Feeling decent today- swelling in the breasts have gone down- don’t want them to go down too much!!! No real pain or discomfort in the chest...
But lipo areas... ouch! Hoping this improve over the next few days there... pretty uncomfortable!
