Not Satisfied with Results

I waited a long time to write this review because I wanted to give my body plenty of time to heal and see what my final results would look like. In October 2024, I had liposuction with fat transferred to my breasts. I was satisfied with the appearance of my breasts, but approximately a year and a half later, I developed several lumps. That was obviously scary and required a mammogram - additional expense. Thankfully, the lumps were determined to be fat necrosis and not breast cancer, but it was still a stressful consequence of the procedure.

I am unfortunately much less satisfied with my abdominal result. Before surgery, my main concern was loose skin (weight 128 so didn’t have much fat). Now I still have the loose skin, but I also have areas that look irregular, indented and feel hard.

I also wish I had understood Dr. Baker’s credentials more clearly before proceeding. His practice offers cosmetic surgery, but he is board-certified in general surgery, not by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

I’m sharing my experience because I wish I had researched the specific board certification more carefully and consulted with more than one surgeon. I encourage anyone considering liposuction or fat transfer to verify the physician’s exact specialty certification, ask about the possibility of contour irregularities and fat necrosis, and request long-term healed photographs—not only early results.

Lastly, I was also promised that he could get me 80% tighter skin but even at three months post-op I couldn’t tell a difference and neither could my husband.
