Overall I'm not happy with the procedure

I had my procedure this past April 23th at Charlotte with Dr. Bednar. I have to say that my experience in general was good in terms of staff courtesy and trip plan. Doctor's team are nice people, the nurse named Soumida is very friendly and answers almost all your questions. Anesthesiologist is very professional. I think his name is Joel .He explains to you everything with anesthesia. Staff at front desk are nice too. Dr. Bednar barely speaks , in my case he was very brief. Previously over the phone , he told me that based on my pictures , he could get me two cup sizes increase. The day before surgery, he told me that probably one size cup and a half but still I was ok with that, so i did not want to get lumps for too much fat injected. But still , the communication wasn't open as expected , the nurse Soumida was the one who answered almost all my questions. I would have liked the Doctor to answer my questions since he is the surgeon and was the one who knew my case. I would say that Doctor intention is not to be rude but he gives that impression because he is brief and stay with you around 5 minutes which is not enough time for you to ask your questions, in other words that not time for a real consultation. This procedure is expensive and the patient deserves to be heard by the Doctor and to know everything related to the procedure. I did not like this in person-consult experience before surgery but it was too late for me to cancel the procedure since I went from Miami to Charlotte and with my family, so I was going to lose money if i did, so let's skip this part.
The day of the surgery i was very tired because i couldn't sleep , i was stressed out, scare for the procedure, so i just wanted to get it over. The procedure went fine i guess. I was out of the office before recovering full consciousness . I remember to be in a car with some stranger no named Darlene that "supposedly" was going to be my overnight nurse that i paid for .... it was a different person than the one i was told. I was informed that was a nurse named Darlene Baca and i ended up with other person that wasn't a nurse . She was nice though but i think that any change with the patient plans has to be communicated. I guess there is not perfect ?cosmetic surgery clinic in terms of transparency.
?Moving forward and talking now about the procedure. Fat transfer may work well for women with deflated breasts , those that remove their implants, or had previous breastfeeding, or aging that end up for some reason with deflated saggy breast,
?These ladies have a better chance to get their volume back based on all breast fat transfer experiences reviews that I have read and because of pictures provided. Also, i noticed that skinny women do better with this procedure based on the pictures the doctor has posted in the website and videos in you tube. But if that is not your case, your results will be modest or very modest. I got small increase, not much. It's barely noticeable. I really thought that my retention was going to be better, the doctor commented that i had dense breasts good for retention. Right now, I am in my 6 week and i have lost almost all fat injected, i maybe have right now 30% left. I guess that my body has reabsorbed the fat, so i don't want to know at the end of three months... at this point , I will not be surprise to end with nothing. They told me that I will keep retention from 70% to 80 %. Well.... that did not happen. I got my own conclusion that we are all different and react different to procedures. I started with upper pole breast tissue but none lower pole, also mild tuberous in right breast (after the procedure I don't see a major change in this precondition). I know the Doctor did his best. I'm not saying that he did something wrong. I know that he is one of the popular Doctors for this procedure using the best techniques. I know, he has the experience and knowledge that's why i chose him. It is just that did not work for me . He injected 570 cc in each breast that right after the procedure, the breasts look nice because they are swollen but after a month following all instructions, wearing sport bra, no exercises, taking care to do my best to keep retention , almost all fat has gone. So , my recommendation is to do your search and study your own case and have realistic expectations. Your body reaction to these fat injections also plays an important part. In my case did not work. I don't think you want to pay a lot of money for let's see what is going to happen. With the lipo, i got more stretch marks but again it is my skin type, tendency to this , no doctor's fault. You need to have all of these things in mind. Also the consent you sign is full of all of these possible issues that could happen that you don't realize when you go make your appt day for surgery.
Going back to lipo....to be honest, before the procedure i was happy with my bottom part , i just needed donor areas , for me ,were love handles and outer thighs that still are swollen , cant see well the results but i really wasn't interested in lipo, it wasn't my goal. Overall I'm not happy with the procedure and.... like other surgeons say in this website , if you want volume you need to go for implants. Fat transfer does not work for everyone, no gives you volume as you may think. In my case, i got injected 570 cc in each and almost all gone. I haven 't called the office to say this . it is not my intention to claim anything. I knew things could go wrong so there is nothing to talk about. Also, the consent that you have to sign before surgery excuse the clinic of any possible failure.
That's my story, my experience that i want you to know in case you don't know all details and you don't have a clear understanding of everything related to this procedure. I wont post pictures. It is just not worthy. Good luck to all of you.
