Breast Fat transfer

ORIGINAL POST

Fat graft to breast with crescent lift.

One week post op: had lipo from flanks, lower abdomen, and bra fat area. I was very nervous to add a crescent lift to the mix because I didn't see many good reviews from surgeons about them on here, but my Dr was very confident that I would like the results. The recovery from the lipo has been pretty brutal. I've had a drain in for a week now and am hoping I can get it removed next week. So far I am extremely pleased with the way my breasts look! Nipples turned out perfect and am hoping to retain the size. My lipo areas look good so far but are still pretty swollen to really tell.
I love Mariam Awada so much! She's such an amazing, caring, bad ass boss! And her staff is just as great! I couldn't have asked for anyone more prefect!

Hi, you look great! I had the same thing done on 7/2 Lipo has been the most painful part for me. Still sleeping upright after 5 weeks. I'm also still taking it pretty easy. My breasts have shrunk over the weeks but not too much. Have you had the burning pain from the nerves waking up yet?

Hi! Ugh, yea the lipo is awful. No burning yet, still just numb, but I'm having all sorts of lumpy fluid retention. I had to get one seroma syringed out yesterday. I'm scared that my drain won't be able to come out yet on my two week mark. I go back to work around then and my job is pretty physically demanding so that's also a concern. Since the post my breast also have shrunk down some, not terrible but still discouraging, hoping they don't go down anymore.

I didn't have drains, they just padded me and let my body do it naturally. We changed the pads a few times over the 4 days before I went back to doc, then I was fine. I'm sorry that's happening, maybe you should try for another week off work. I can't imagine having to do physical labor yet and I'm at 5 weeks. I'm anxious to start working out but I don't think my body is ready yet. I also had a capsulectomy with my breast implant removal where they found a 3" tumor as well. Have you tried any lymphatic drainage? You might be a good candidate for it. Are you wearing your compression garments 24/7? Please keep me updated, and good luck!

They size went down a bit but the shape is still a lot better. Been having troubles with my lipo area and seromas hoping that goes away eventually.

Thanks so much for the update! You’re happy with the crescent lift too? Do you mind if I ask what the cost was?

Not really happy with the lift. They can look oval sometimes but I think that's because I didn't retain fat on the upper sides of my breast near my arm pits so they aren't as filled out evenly.
