Dr. Bednar: Fat Transfer to Breast

UPDATED FROM RoseStone
5 months post

5 months!

WORTH IT$11,000
Hey Everyone. I have reached my 5 month post-op date and couldn’t be happier. I remain a 34DD at aerie, so I went from 34B to 34DD. I still have some minor nipple inversion on my left breast and some lumps as well. I have a larger lump in my left breast which I believe is causing the nipple inversion, I’ll be visiting Dr Bednar next month for possible drainage of the lump which he believes may be a clogged duct from surgery. Otherwise, I have 2 smaller lumps in my right breast which are not too noticeable. I would say that the only downfall for this procedure are the lumps, and maybe the scarring. Otherwise, I am very happy with my results. I am posting 5 month pictures as well as updates on scarring.

Your final results from the procedure are just so inspiring! Quick question, after how many days/weeks post procedure were you able to return to work? Also just curious if you work in the health care field, just in the way you describe your experience seems like you could be :p
I returned to work 2 weeks after. My chest, lower back, and legs were still sore but I was just careful. I am in the health care field!
Wow, the results look amazing!
Thank you!
R u happy with ur Lipo results? Any irregularities/lumpiness there in the hips or thighs? I have hips similar to urs so I’m wondering if u still feel that u have adequate fat there and it’s even
Yeah, the lipo didn’t change my body much.. I honestly feel like I have gained weight since the surgery. The protein drinks didn’t do my body well, I gained weight during the healing process. I don’t have any lumps other than in the breasts. The lipo sites burned with pressure for about 3-4 months and then subsided. I no longer have any issues with the lipo sites.
You look great but I'm sorry about the lumps in your breasts. Do you think your lumps will go away when you massage them? Was it easy for you to sleep on your back for 3 months? After my explant 5 months ago I drank daily protein drinks and I gained over 7 lbs, every gram sitting on my thighs :-( Thanks for sharing
Did you have the lumps treated yet?
I haven’t had any improvement with massaging. Unfortunately, I’ve only noticed a slight slight improvement. I got an ultrasound and the doctor said they’re nothing to worry about but it doesn’t feel good to have these big lumps all over my chest... and I am a back sleeper anyways, so it didn’t bother me.
Is there treatment for them? I got an ultrasound and the doctor told me they aren’t an issue but is much rather not have them at all.
RoseStone, you look beautiful but I can see you're mentioning in the comments that you've gained weight. It's really misleading that you didn't mention this in your review. Weight gain increases the breast size and showing before and after fat transfer photos and not mentioning weight gain sets false surgery expectations for women who are not planning on gaining weight. Do you have any before and after photos where you are the same weight?
You look amazing!! Truly! I've had implants for 12 years now and back then didn't even realize you could do this procedure- I probably would have because I looked just like your before picture and you turned out so beautifully! Congratulations! Hopefully over time those lumps you've talked about will lessen/subside, but if it's any consolation, at least they aren't noticeable in your pictures. You look stunning. Congratulations!
It has been over 9 months now since your last update. Were the lumps gone? Can you post updated pictures?
Hi! Sorry for the delayed response. The lumps are still there. I have yet to go see Dr Bednar to see if there are any options I have to reducing the lumps.

3 months!!

Everything is going well, not much change since month 2. I have found a lump (2cmx2cm) in my left breast which I think is taking part in causing the nipple inversion. I talked to Dr Bednar yesterday and he said I can start lightly massaging the lump. He said if the lump doesn’t improve after a a couple of months then I can visit him to possibly get the lump drained as it could potentially be a clogged duct.
I got measured at VS and Aerie and they both measured me as 34DD. So I went from 34B to 34DD!! Very happy with my results!

No

Hi, your results are great! How many CCs did Dr Bednar put into each breast?
605 cc to each
Good golly!!!!! You haven't changed one bit since month one. INCREDIBLE.
Thank you!
Do you feel like you did anything in particular that benefited your retention?
Just followed Dr. Bednar’s recommendations!
What were his instruction if you don’t mind me asking. I just got my fat transferred to my breast today. I would love to know what he suggested
She gained weight. That's the only reason they're so big. Really misleading. See the comments under the 5 month review. You look great though xx
These are the most incredible breasts I think I’ve ever seen in my life. Wow.
