Damages Beyond Repair and Disfigured

After my surgery in November of 2018 I ended up staying in the hospital for 13 days and had a open wound from the DIEP flap on my belly. Dr. Trahan let me sit for months like this after blowing me off about setting up a Debridement & closer of the wound 2 months after the surgery. No other doctor would touch me after I had to seek wound care on my own. I had no choice but to go back to Dr. Trahan to close my belly. He left me with damages beyond repair and disfigured. Not to mention he left out important information about my health with the issues I had in the hospital and left me with questions that I have no answers to. On one op report it tells me a strong history of Breast cancer but on another report it says Breast Carcinoma... Do or Did I have Breast Cancer????
I have lost everything my job, my credit and my life has changed dramatically not to mention the amount of money I had to pay for the 1st surgery and the cost of everything after that. Oh if you want to get ALL of your records be prepared to have to pay for them.

Breast cancers are carcinomas.

I know that but what I am saying is that on one report he put a strong family history of breast cancer and on another report he states Breast Carcinoma. He didn't say at any time to me or my family that it was breast cancer but on the report it says Breast Cancer.

Well I'm lost then..because why'd you have a double mastectomy if you didn't have breast cancer? You had to agree to these surgeries and sign the required consent forms...right?

You know women do have this for preventive. I had the mastectomy because after having biopsies after biopsies for years and because of my family history of breast cancer I did it for preventive reasons. It has nothing to do with the consent forms it has to do with the fact that the doctor failed to address the problems that I was having in a timely manner. Ignoring any calls, emails and texts. And left out very important information regarding my health.
How would you feel about being ignored by Your doctor who has left you with a 8 inch long and 3 inch wide open wound for 6 months? And when you do hear from him his explanation is that you just fell in between the cracks....

Okay...I get it now. I just didn't have the background on your history. I'm not disputing your review or your viewpoint. I understand It'd be especially hard with the choice you'd just had to make concerning your health and what you'd just lost. I hope you are able to heal completely from all you've been through
