So I couldn't add these to my last post but I just did a PicCollage of before and after. I was only looking for upper pole fullness. Very satisfied with the results.

Thank you so much. I am very happy with the outcome. I just had a tummy tuck and the recovery nurse actually asked if I had my breast done, lol. No, I told her it was a breast fat transfer!

Thank you so much for posting your journey. I hope I can manage to transfer and look as good as you! We are about the same height and weight. I have to explant first before transferring, and the first consulting surgeon who did my original implants did not think I had enough fat to do a transfer. I am disappointed and am booking other consults. I just want something transferred to help adjust to the explant, even if it helps round out what I lost even if they are smaller. I was a 34b before implanting 300cc, and am a 32dd with implants. I hope to find a surgeon who feels that they can harvest enough fat to help ease my transition. If you find a surgeon who could do it for you since we are the same height and weight, I cannot see why I could not find a surgeon who feels that they can help me. I am amazed at your minimal bruising! You look really great. Was the fat transfer really painful after waking up? How sore were you? How long until your pain subsided? If childbirth would be a 10, what would you say your pain scale was at its worst after your surgery? Did you experience nausea from the pain?

Almost 3 years out and still so happy!

lindyshellp
It's been almost 3 years since my breast fat transfer and I am still incredibly happy with the one cup increase. I went through them a 34B to a 34C (or a 32D as Victoria secrets would measure me but I'm not so sure about their measurements)! It was totally worth it in my opinion. Now I'm off to get a tummy tuck next month! I will be document that journey as well on RealSelf.

Where did you have your fat transfer done? I have concerns about fat deposits and lumps conflicting with mammograms. I have read that's why some doctors will not do fat transfer breast augmentations. Also I was wondering how much you paid for your procedure. Sorry for all of the questions I want to do this I just have concerns.

I live in the Northeast and had it done by a surgeon in Westport, CT. I had lipo as well and the total was 7,500.00. I think the fat transfer was 2K of that. I initially had some lumps but they were all gone within a year (you couldn't feel them but they were on the ultrasound). You have to careful about how much fat you transfer. Too much and you get fat necrosis. I have none and no lumps.

Hi!! I am in the northeast. What surgeon did you use?

Thank you so much! I reached out to you because I am a similar height 5'7 and I'm about 140lbs I am in New York so I could go to the city, Jersey or CT depending upon the surgeon. I looked at your updated comments and saw some of the info I asked answered in your post lol. Sorry about that. I am 33 and feel like my body is changing and I doubt that I could gain an entire cup size. The highest possibility would probably be a half cup size. I am just wondering if you feel that it was worth it. Also do you have any scars or indications of what was done? Thank you so much for your reply!

I definitely feel it was worth it. I didn't want to go bigger by adding an implant that I would have to change out a decade from now. And I have absolutely zero scars from the incisions!

Mammogram all clear!

lindyshellp
Hi guys. Just popping in to say I had my annual mammogram. I was supposed to have one back in February/March for a six month follow up because they had seen some irregularities in my breasts after the transfer. Of course Covid hit so I was never able to go. I just went for my annual and whatever they had seen on the mammogram was either getting smaller and dissolving or were gone altogether. It was probably fat necrosis that they had seen.. so I don't need to go back for another year. Still happy with my transfer, I had updated that just a month or two ago.

Great results. Congrats! I hope to do this in the next year or two.

How did you feel post op? Would you say it was hard Or painful to walk Post op the day of, the next day, and 2 days after? I’m thinking of doing same procedure and wondering if it’s possible to walk around on the day after or 2 days after

Thanks for your detailed journey! I am considering this but I am not sure I could handle 3 months in compression farmers and sleeping on my back. I also worry about lumpiness in the lipo areas though it sounds like all your lumps went away over time. Have you gained any fat back in the places where you had lipo? I'm really wondering how long term all of this last.
October 28, 2020
Hi. Actually, the compression wasn't that bad. If you do the surgery in the winter months he will be fine. Wouldn't recommend it in the spring or summer. I still have some but I would call ropiness In the back waist area. I think that happened after he went into touch it up the second time. Probably should've left that area alone. But you can't really tell. I have not gained any weight in the Lipo areas. However, I have gained some through my hips and thighs. I don't know if that's the result of the surgery ,or fat going elsewhere, or me being 50! Either way, I still fit into my clothes. Thy just it different. My boobs are definitely fuller o that's a plus.My retention was good. My stomach is definitely flatter than pre lipo. All in all I would say it was worth it.
