31 yr old looking for my dream body
Dr. Mesa is the absoute best!!! I waited to write my review for the most of the swelling, etc to go down. Basically, he revamped my entire body which revamped my life! :-) I was very interested in a breast fat transfer, and I got interested in this by looking at Kylie Jenner who has the most amazing body now and I was trying to figure out what she may have done. I had small 32A sized breasts before, and felt out of balance with my hips for my entire life. Now I have 32D breasts that are super perky and perfectly shaped, but that is not all :-) My waist is now perfectly super sculpted and I really do have my version of Kylie's body! The best part of this is my breasts are real, my actual living tissue, and I have no worries about implants for the future, etc. He also sculpted my inner thighs during this process which I super appreciate. This is a full body makeover- my friends and family literally can't believe it - I jokingly say I had to wait till 31 to hit puberty, but it was worth the wait!! I am estastic with the unexpected size increase from A to D, that is pretty unbelievable for this procedure - for a moment, I was a DD due to swelling which I quite liked :-) I may in a few months ask about a second transfer which is not at all abnormal from the back of my thighs and upper arms to my chest, but seriously, I couldn't not be happier as is! I put on a dress you have to wear without a bra for the first time in my life and literally cried in the mall, I was so amazed and happy! This really transformed my life, my only wish is I could have had this at 18 and not at 31, but it didn't exist back then :-)
My second two procedures were on my face - a buccal fat pad removal which I had never heard of before until browsing his site and an under eye fat transfer to fill out some extreme hollowness / purple areas. WOW on the buccal fat pad removal - I had 'pumpkin head' my whole life and was worried about getting my Mom's jowls - this is one of the best, most subtle procedures you can do to sculpt your face that is so painless and drama free. The under eye fat transfer is a little harder for me to judge currently as it has been a little over two weeks since surgery and there is still significant swelling, but I can tell the hollows are gone and I'm sure this will heal up beautifully as well. The under eye area was super important to me as I just looked so tired after 11 years of working in a very challenging profession and going to a very challenging school before hand - I really got sick of seeing that on my face. Now, it is gone and it does feel like a fresh start :-)
The biggest thing I can say is if you are considering breast fat transfer/ especially just do it! The rest of your body will be sculpted and with the expert hands of Dr. Mesa, the results will be beautiful and I really had no pain at all! Seriously, 5 hours of surgery and I was up and walking around like it was nothing the next day. I slept a lot more than normal, I did not take any prescription painkillers after the 3rd day. You need at least a week, 2 is better to get back to your office job after this, at least this was my experience. I am 31, 115 lbs and in good shape, I think this helps, I had a lot of kale smoothies before this procedure :-)
Finally, aside from the work he did on me, Dr. Mesa is a wonderful, super nice guy who I always enjoyed meeting with. He has a super sharp presentation that just lets you know he will be as meticulous with you as he is with himself. His nurse Cristina is literally the absolute best - I could text her at anytime to coordinate anything, she is the nicest, friendliest person who totally prepared me for this surgery, and I feel like I made a good friend with her! The entire staff is super nice, from Carla at reception and Diana the medical massage lady, everyone is super friendly and genuinely happy for you. This is a great and very accommodating PS crew, definitely check them out!!
