I got a breast augmentation with Dr. Newen on July 30. I am 21, 5'1 and 115lb. I ended up going with 435 cc, silicone implants, under the muscle, moderate profile. Everything went great, only thing I wish was different is that Dr. Newen didnt see me until the right before my surgery to mark me. I wish I had met him in my pre op because I wanted his opinion on the size implant I was picking. His assistants helped me but I wish I could have gotten his opinion on that because I was very nervous/stressed about the size since I'm very petite. When I met Dr Newen I asked him if he thought 435 cc was a good size for me and he didn't answer my questions he just said it depends what I'm looking for and how sexy I want my breast to look. Thought that was weird but it's whatever's. I've seen other surgeons measure each breast and chest size to determine your anatomical capacity for an implant so I wish I could have gotten something like that. Thankfully my breast are looking really good and are proportionate to the rest of my body! They may look bigger after they drop and fluff but I think that will still look good. My recovery has been great! I'm on day 6 and am able to shower by myself and get up by myself! I've had minimal pain and didn't even finish all my pain medicine! I just feel sore and morning boob is uncomfortable. The worst part of all this for me is the bloat/constipation :( probably from the pain meds and lack of activity during my recovery. I would recommend Dr Newen because his work is very nice. However if you're someone who needs to have a good relationship with your surgeon and need a lot of reassurance, I'm not sure you would like him. Let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to answer!

My recovery is going great! Soreness is almost completely gone and Im able to sleep on my back and sides. My nipples are extremely hypersensitive and the sides of my boobs itch from the skin stretching but other than that everything is normal! They still need to drop and fill out more below the nipple but they look amazing so far! I’m very happy with my results and can’t wait to see them continue to look better!

They look amazing! I have the exact same stats as you and am getting 435 mod+ implants on the 27th of this month! I was worried about the size a little as well but this is putting me at ease

Yay congrats! I was really worried about the size too but I think it's perfect and I actually wouldn't mind them being bigger. I could have gone with 450 and they would have looked good too! I started off as a 34 B too if that's any help.

I’m a 32 B so I’m hoping I get similar results to you! I was between 435 and 450!! Opted for 435 because I felt like the 450 sizer looked huge on my body. Do you have any tips or suggestions for recovery? I’m starting to get super nervous now that I’m only a day away.

I think 435 will be perfect for you! Definitely drink a ton of water today since you'll have to fast tomorrow before surgery. Did you purchase the arnica and bromelain? If you did, take those today! I believe you can take 2 capsules a day for each. I would recommend getting a neck pillow to help you sleep because sleeping sitting down is rough, my back hurt a lot the first few days. Also the meds made me superrr constipated and bloated so a laxative like Magnesium Citrate will help a lot! After surgery stay really hydrated so you can flush the anesthesia out of your system. You might lose your appetite so have some light like crackers, bananas, soup that's what I ate my first night. For me the pain wasn't bad it just felt really tight so it was uncomfortable because you feel like you can't really move your arms and stuff. Also really sore like you just worked out. The meds they give you are acetaminophen with codiene so I would switch between that and ibuprofen 800mg bc ibuprofen helps with inflammation and acetaminophen is mainly for pain. Hope that helps! Good luck you got this (:

I forgot to mention, get yourself another surgical bra! They provide one but it's so uncomfortable! I got this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074PP3MG4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WKOrFbDVFEKBM

Hello I'm getting 400CC and I think they're to big for my frame. I'm 5'0 feet, 115 lbs. What cup size did you end up with your 435? I'm also going to get my surgery with dr newen
September 25, 2020
Hey, I'm not exactly sure what cup size I am yet. I haven't bought any bras because I'm waiting for them to fully drop so I can get the right size. But I did try on a 32 D from Pink and it's too small so I'm thinking I'll be a 32-34 DD.

Hi! Can I ask if you know what is your BwD? I am going with Dr Newen too. Almost same stat as yours. But Jane recommended High Profile? And since Sientra doesn't have 435 in High Profile. I am torn between 415 and 440.

Breast width if you happen to know? But if not it's okay. Do you have a narrow chest frame? What made you decide to have mod plus? I have narrow chest frame, but so afraid to go High Profile because I have seen pics of girls ended up with like having 2 balls on their chest bec of too much projection. But i am afraid to go wide also.

Almost 6 weeks post op!

I have my 6 week appointment in a few days and I will be able to finally remove the surgical tape over my incision! This is my breast in a crop top with no bra and really no support! I love how they are looking and feeling, this was definitely the best investment I’ve made for ME! I believe capsular contracture forms around 4-8 weeks post op so I’m almost out of that window and am so relieved because that was one of my main concerns! Overall I’m very happy
