WORTH IT
Updating since I can’t find a way to remove my review. I just want to advise my breast augmentation has gone without any hiccups, it’s all been fine and I’m very happy.
My tummy tuck needed a revision due to bulging and ‘dog ears’, which then needed to be revised AGAIN and changed to a full tummy tuck because the bulging just wouldn’t go away.
I’ve had another follow up on that since I still have the dog ears which are quite prominent, and will need yet another revision to flatten these out. I have no idea what causes these, I was not significantly overweight to begin with (am 173cm, and was 68kg at the time of my first surgery.) looking back I’m not sure I would’ve ever had this done due to the $$ and feeling like I’m forever in recovery and waiting for things to improve and settle.

Can I ask, did the bulging / shelf go away after the first revision? or did you have both bulding and the dog ears remain?
would love some more photos of what the outcome is now. I think I might be in the same situation as you

Abdominoplasty Scar Revision

Yesterday I had scar revision on my lower abdomen.
Not too long ago I had my 6 month check up and I had some concerns over how the scar was healing. As my previous posts state I had the ‘dog ears’ at the edges of my scar and there was also a fair bit of overhang which was pretty prominent in clothes (to me anyway). In that check up Dr Moore said over time the area should even out, however as I have my wedding approaching in 4 months time I didn’t feel it was going to be how I wanted it at that time so had opted for the scar revision. Dr Moore charged a small fee for materials I’m guessing, all up the revision cost around $2300 from memory.
It was a very quick surgery, I believe I was in and out of the room within an hour, he was also kind enough to stitch up a piercing scar I have on my upper lip without charge.
Dr Moore could sense I was a bit nervous and was very comforting as always, although it’s only day 1 after the revision and considering I’m still swollen, I believe my stomach is looking much flatter already.
I took some last minute pics of beforehand as I was rushing out the door to show my concern areas. I’ll update again in a week when my bandages come off :)

Week 9 & 10 update pics

Just updating on the stomach which does seem to be shrinking.
I have begun using EcoTan Glory Oil on my scars and notice they are MUCH less irritated than they were prior to using so definitely worth the $$!
Haven’t had any further issues or need to contact my surgeon since my last contact about my incision line seeming to open up. Cant wait to see how my stomach improves in another 2 weeks!

Your results are looking incredible so far, congrats!
Your results are amazing! What compression garments do you use?
Hmm not sure what the medical name is for it! It was a large band that went from my bra line to my panty line, with 3 Velcro straps to tighten were needed. And for my breasts just a regular compression bra, I actually had two types, one fastened at the front with a zip and the other had the hook style fasteners also at the front. I think the hook style was my favourite because I could tighten it at different heights across my chest (or more importantly loosen it for some relief at the bottom!!)
I hope that helps :)
Thank you for such a very informative reply. I will get myself some hook type bras.

Do you know your current cup size? I’m going with the exact same implants but I also need a lift as I have a lot of tissue.
