Wasn’t Worth It. Would Never Do It Again. Which I Could Get Them Out!

When I started my journey, I went to 3 different specialists and decided on Dr. Hubbard. His staff was friendly, he was nice and took his time with everything. However, as soon as I got home from surgery, I could tell my right side was much higher than my left. I had a Large blood blister on that breast which they told me to burst with a safety pin. It was so bad and I had so much pain in that right breast that he did 2 revisions under anesthesia for free to try and fix and one procedure in office. I have had nothing but pain since. I have no feeling in either breast anymore and wouldn’t recommend this procedure to anyone and wish I could have them removed.

I am so sorry this happened to you. Other than the blood blister were there any other complications? Any health issues?

I have had continuous pain in that breast to this day and have had to have two surgeries to remove scar tissue (capsular contracture). The doctor said it was the thickest amount he’d ever seen. I’ve also had other health issues like seizures and always feeling ill but I’m not sure if it’s related to that or not. What I can say, is it didn’t start until after I had my augmentation done.

I believe so but my doctors just treat each issue separately and don’t understand. You’d be surprised how little a lot of physicians know about different conditions. If you have any advice, I’d be grateful for it. Thank you!

I know BII isn’t recognized as an actual illness therefore, most doctors cant treat it. If you suspect you have it, then the only way to cure it is to remove your implants and the capsule. If you dont do that, then as each symptom arises your doctor(s) will treat each independently. I am not sure why doctors aren’t knowledgeable about the side effects on breast implants since they specifically say (in the manufactures pamphlet) that certain illnesses are linked to breast implants. Oh my dear lord. I'm so sorry this happened to you! I am hoping these photos are from a while ago and that you've made a good recovery by now. Also hoping that cosmetically things will improve, in terms of the final outcome with placement and scarring etc.. Please update this review again if you're feeling up to it? Are these photos after his attempts to revise the surgery? When did you notice the numbness start? I truly wish you the best!

Thank you all for asking about an update. Since he did the third and final revision, they at least both look the same and everything has healed outwardly but I still have constant pain in that breast. Because he had to “release” the implant to lower it, I can now easily feel the implant under that breast. I will post pictures soon. Thank you!

The sad part is, he is supposedly one of the top in plastic surgeons in Dallas and I paid one of the higher prices of the three places I checked out. I thought, you pay what you get for. But that obviously isn’t always the case. I truly believe that some women’s bodies are just not able to handle having a foreign body put in them.
