Unpleasant Experience and Results

I am writing this review out of pure frustration for the place as a whole and how it is run. Or not run. First, Dr. Awada does do decent work. I guess. I don’t think it’s the best; I’m not very happy with the results of my breast augmentation; I’d say a 6/10. I think my breasts could be bigger and closer together. My areolas are TWICE THE SIZE and scarred SO BAD. I don’t think I needed the crescent lift she insisted upon. I hate how they look naked and in a shirt they’re only okay. (I wanted full and I don’t think they’re very full.) It is very much an ASSEMBLY LINE. There is no personable consultation; it is rushed and in and out and the Dr does what she thinks is best. I’ve seen at least 3 people as her ‘liaison’ and that doesn’t seem good to me. *A huge staff turnover is never a good sign.* Scheduling is a NIGHTMARE. After your surgery every post-op appointment has a wait of at LEAST 2 HOURS. (Because we already paid, right, so we’re not important I guess.) This is not an exaggeration. My appointment today was at 5 pm and it is now 7 pm and I’m still not close to being seen. They promise facials and this and that but I’ve never had any of these promised services because of how far behind they get. They try to blame Covid and this and that but it’s simply overbooking and not giving ample time. It’s so unprofessional and shows no regard for her clients. In the office she is quick and professional, but again nothing is personable AT ALL. I don’t like my breasts and I wish I could’ve had a better more thorough consultation and had a surgeon who would listen to me. It’s pure anxiety every time I step foot in this place. I paid thousands of dollars to be taken care of and made to feel/look better, not to question my decision of the practice I chose because it makes me that uncomfortable. Know what you’re getting into. Mediocre work and horrible service. Traumatic.

I'm so sorry you feel this way love. I completely understand what you mean by assembly line, and rushed. All the doctors see us as are dollar signs, they don't give a crap about us personally; which is sad considering we are literally putting our lives in their hands for a moment. I felt the same way during my BA journey. I do hope you feel better. If anything you can look up another board certified PS (that you are comfortable with) for your concerns. Good luck & Take Care.

I would not be happy either, looks like she went through the nipple and she did not do a good job of stitching you up like she was rushed, seems to me it's about seeing how many people she can get done each day she works to get the money, and as a female doctor she should care about how you look, you would think she would be a little more sensitive to that, put herself in the patients shoes how would she feel if she had to look like that, seeing your augmentation makes it so i don't even want to check out the rest of the site or pictures, i would demand free treatments for the scars or you'll sue them plus get some high iu vitamine e and take it also rub the vitamine e oil around the scar area and cerave. i had mine done when i was 25 im now almost 47 and i had two kids, my implants went down in 2006 thank goodness they were saline but i still have the shells in me, i have not had the money to get them taken out and or redone, and they actually look good considering everything, the only thing is i would like them redone back up where they should be, but i don't think i'll be going to her, the first time they went underneath and i have some scaring but it's not to bad and you really can't see it, if i knew then what i know now i would have had them go threw the arm pit, but i had to get back to work back then i was worried about healing time and if i ever can that's how i'm going to have them do it, but not by her considering how it was done you don't look that bad and as time go's on you'll look better they have come along way from how they were when i had them done, it's to bad she didn't care more i would report her to the b.b.b .hope you get justice :)
@RS you said you had your saline drained but left the shells in? You know the shells are made of silicone? I think the OP has some issues that could be fixed with scar revision and/or time. As for trying to sue a Dr. I'm pretty sure on the paperwork you sign it states they don't guarantee results.
Hey there! Let me first say that I can empathize with the way you are feeling. I also want to say I think your breast looks amazing. When I look at your before and after, you really healed well and your breast are full (to me) unless you just wanted much larger breast. They appear very natural. I do understand your areola being larger, and It appears most are enlarged, including mine. I hope you get your concerns addressed and again, you look great!
Our scars go through an angry phase. We need to give them time to heal. I honestly think messing with them too early affects the scars too. Your PS should of explained that getting bigger implants and doing work to the areola (lift) sometimes can stretch out your areolas. The one side I think you needed the lift since your nipple(s) started out so low. Give it time! Patience is the key and before long you won't even notice those scars. Happy continued healing.
