I had a breast augmentation and lift on 4th November with Dr. Semih Yildiz.
350CC mentor implants, high profile.
Never had any surgery before so was nervous, but I'm very happy with the experience and results. Dr. Semih is clearly very established so I would recommend him to anybody considering a similar surgery. Before the surgery he assessed my breast area and advised what was needed to achieve the best results, and was equally transparent about any limitations. I felt like I could trust his expertise.
The hospital is clean and the rooms you stay in are really comfortable. Some nurses don't speak English but it's enough to get by, and they still provide great aftercare.
At first your breasts are swollen, hard and high on your chest. I didn't like them immediately but you really have to trust the process. I'm now 12 weeks post op and they look amazing and very natural. I've still got scarring but this can take 1 year to heal, which I was told before surgery.
My patient co-ordinator Umut was very helpful and continues to support throughout the healing process. He responds quickly on WhatsApp and reassures you about any concerns.
The only thing you don't get vs. a local clinic/ hospital are post-op checks with the surgeon. That's just the nature of travelling abroad for a surgery, and it hasn't caused a problem for me.
The only reason I didn't rate as 5* is because of the hotel you stay in as part of the package with Vanity. It's ok - but if I travelled for another surgery I'd organise my own accommodation.
