I am currently in Mexico City after my surgery on 2/11/2020. It has been a wonderful experience and everything has went exactly how the consultant, David, said it would. Everyone has been very friendly! Dr. Rendon has been amazing at answering all questions before the surgery. 

My consultation was on 2/10/20 at the Hospital Angeles with Dr. Rendon. On the 11th, my surgery was actually at a clinic nearby the hospital. You must keep an open mind about what the surgery clinic will look like because it is nothing spectacular but he has all the equipment to get his job done well! 

The motel, Scala Magna, is included in the price quote that I was given for all the surgery. It is a very, very nice 4 star motel. (It would easily be a 5 star in America) The rooms are big and my husband and myself each had a California king bed of our own. Rooms and bedding are cleaned daily. The blow dryer only runs for about 2 minutes at a time, so you may want to bring your own. Other than the blow dryer, we are very pleased! The restaurant that is in the Scala Magna motel is nothing less than perfect! The food is delicious, the wait staff are attentive, always smiling and very nice and well dressed in their suits. A meal for 2 in American dollars cost approximately $34. Very economical and so worth the price. 

Since my surgery on the 11th, I have had a doctor visit me daily to checks my incisions and see how I am doing. She comes to the motel and has been on time. Very nice as well! I do NOT recommend coming here for any kind of surgery by yourself. There is a lot of recovery time for plastic surgeries and you WILL need an extra hand to do things that you normally can. My surgery was about 6 hours plus 3 hours in the recovery room. Anesthetic takes a lot out of you especially when you are under general anesthetic for a long period of time. I get very tired quickly. In the last 3 days, the swelling from all areas has went down and I am able to stay awake for longer periods of time. Like I said, Anesthetic takes it out of me! 

I highly recommend Topplasticsurgeonsmexico and I am giving them a 5 STAR! We had no issues with exchanging the money when we got here which we were happy that their transparency and no money down was honored! We booked our flight around a time that the surgeon has openings, sent the flight information and everything was ready to go! Nothing hidden and nothing underhanded. I had 270cc implants and a lift done 2/11/20 with Dr. Bernardo Rendon at Topplasticsurgeonsmexico. 

I am happy with the overall results but before I left, I started getting necrotic tissue and blisters on my nipples/areolas. This is not a normal part of healing and should have been addressed before I left their care in Mexico. I’m struggling now with wound healing...this is the email I sent to David, the consultant.......

My wound doctor cultured the wounds on my breasts. I do have staph infection. After debridement the wounds got deeper.... in America, Ciproflaxin is not generally used for skin infections preventatives or post surgical prophylactic care. It’s used primarily for URinary Tract infections. My doctor believes that ciproflaxin after surgery was not aggressive enough since I showered and the water was not even drinkable there. in America, antibiotics aren’t used conservatively like in other countries so we have resistance to some that are used successfully in other countries. I’m rarely on antibiotics and very healthy but my physicians here think being on ciproflaxin was a direct reason why I have staph infection now just a suggestion for future surgeries....
