I've always wanted larger breasts since I was younger. As I've gotten older, I noticed that I have lost some breast volume and upper pole fullness, especially over the past 3 years since I started getting into weight training and healthy eating. I currently wear a 32C bra size but I feel like my breasts don't completely fill the cup.
Fast forward to the end of 2019, one of my good friends recommended Dr. Frank Lista to me. I debated for a while before booking a consultation and the COVID-19 pandemic didn't help matters either. I decided to take the plunge and book my first consultation for June 9, 2020 and it was a great experience! Dr. Lista answered all of my questions and never once made me feel pressured. He recommended cohesive silicone gel implants, subfascial placement, and inframammary incisions. He measured my breast width (11.75cm) and chose 9 size options for me ranging from 205cc to 345cc. Trying on the sizers was so much fun but it was also a bit overwhelming! At the time, I decided on 295cc moderate profile, but after going home and sleeping on it, I felt like I wanted more volume. During the consultation, they said that a lot of patients regret not going big enough and that the outcome will look a little smaller than what I see with the sizers. When I called in the next day to book my surgery date, I also booked another consultation to go over sizing again. I really appreciated the fact that they offer free consultations. My second consultation was on June 30th and at that appointment, I decided on 335cc full profile. I've attached some of my before photos and photos of me wearing the 335cc sizers. My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow July 20, 2020 and I'm so excited!!! I can't wait to see how they look! I'm also feeling a little bit nervous but it's just normal preop jitters.
I also want to add that I'm a Registered Nurse and I work on a busy surgical floor. As of right now, I will have 16 days off from work from my surgery date and Dr. Lista assured me that should be plenty of time to recover. I really hope it's enough time! If anything, I may need to take a few more days off work depending how I feel. Stay tuned for more updates on my breast augmentation journey!

Day of treatment
A few hours after surgery

My surgery went well today! I got to the clinic an hour before my surgery time, got my vitals taken by one of the nurses, then I had to get changed into the gown, my pyjama bottoms, compression stockings, socks, slippers, and my robe. I was wrapped in 2 thick blankets to get warm before the surgery. I also had to take a few pills before the surgery with a little sip of water. One of the plastic surgeons (Dr. Austin) came in and took before photos from different angles and he also marked me up with a black marker. Then Dr. Lista came in to have a look and I showed him some of my wish photos again to remind him of the shape and final look I wanted. Then I was taken to the OR suite where I met the anesthesiologist and she asked me questions about my medical history and allergies. She inserted an IV and started my saline drip. Another nurse placed compression devices on my calves to prevent blood clots, then she placed the anesthesia mask on me and I was out!
When I woke up in the recovery area, I felt so dizzy as if the room was spinning. I also felt really hungry haha! I wasn’t in too much pain, it felt more like some pressure and tightness but it wasn’t too bad. The nurse gave me a few sips of water but I started feeling really nauseous. I was also really drowsy, I just kept falling back asleep. After about an hour, the nurses helped me into a wheelchair and wheeled me down to meet my fiancé. They gave him my postop instructions and prescription meds and helped me into the car. I got nauseous again during the car ride home and ended up vomiting once!
I’ve basically just been sleeping since I got home. The nausea subsided and I was able to keep down some food and water. As the anesthesia wears off, I’m starting to feel more pain and tightness. I’m able to move my arms but I don’t have full range of motion as yet, for example I’m not able to lift my arms above shoulder height. The doctor called me in the evening to see how I was doing which was really nice! I’m feeling ok right now so hopefully the rest of my recovery goes smoothly. I have my first postop appointment tomorrow. I’ll keep you updated on my progress! I can’t wait to see how my breasts look once they start to soften up and drop! They feel quite hard right now.

How would u describe pain and tightness? I'm debating if I should have it done
July 22, 2020
I would describe the pain as a combination of tightness and soreness all over, and I started getting some intermittent sharp/stabbing pains too. Overall, it’s been tolerable with the pain meds. It’s definitely a personal decision whether to get it done but I would say it’s worth it! Good luck with your decision!

Hope your recovery goes well. Looking at your before photos, I think you'll end up with a great result.

Postop Day 1 Update
csslnpkcJuly 22, 2020
I had my first postop appointment this morning with the postop nurse Lori. She said everything looks great! She took off the dressings on my incisions but left the waterproof dressing on that was underneath. She said that will stay on for 2 weeks and will be taken off at my 2 week appointment. I have some bruising on the tops and sides of my breasts which she said was normal and will go away as they heal. She said I could shower today and told me to wash my surgical bra in the washer and dryer. I have to wear my surgical bra everyday for 1 month.
I’m feeling much more pain today. It feels like a combination of tightness, soreness, and intermittent sharp/stabbing pains. I’ve been taking my pain meds as scheduled and they’ve been helping to keep the pain tolerable. Earlier when the sharp pains started, I took 2 hydromorphone tabs because it says I can take 1-2 tabs every 6 hours as needed. However, I felt so nauseous with the 2 tabs! I even made sure to eat before taking it. I think I’ll just stick to 1 tab from now on. My back and shoulders have been hurting a lot today too. I find that I’m hunching my shoulders forward because of the pain/tightness. Whenever I realize I’m doing it, I try to straighten my back and shoulders. Getting in and out of bed has also been difficult so my fiancé has been helping me. He helps me out of bed by putting his arm behind my back so that I’m not using my chest muscles. I still don’t feel comfortable lifting my arms up too high because of the pain so my fiancé has also been helping me brush my teeth and shower me. I didn’t realize how many little everyday things require using your chest like opening and closing the fridge, opening a water bottle, etc. I’d recommend avoiding doing these things if you have someone else to do them for you!
I attached some photos of my breasts after I took off my surgical bra for the first time today! They’re definitely swollen, hard and tender to touch. And my nipples are quite sensitive too. I’m also REALLY bloated today. I started passing gas today which is a good sign but no bowel movement yet. I recommend taking your laxative meds right away and drinking lots of water! I was prescribed senokot so I’ve been taking that every night before bed.
Anyway I can’t wait to see how my breasts settle. I’m so excited! I think they’re going to look great!
I got Natrelle Inspira SSF Cohesive Gel Silicone 335cc full profile, subfascial placement, and inframammary incisions under my breast creases.

Boob buddies! We are close in stats and date :-) I thought my swelling was abnormal but we look about the same.

The Norco will cause bloating and constipate you , so try another method of pain medication something over counter Tylenol perhaps !
