POSTED UNDER Breast Augmentation Reviews
Time to feel like a woman! Flat chested, want full B cup
UPDATED FROM FinlayA
5 weeks and as though they've always been there!
It's been a couple of weeks since I last posted. I had my one month review with my surgeon last week and he is happy with how they are healing. He said I could ditch the support bra and wear any non wired bra plus said I didn't need to wear a bra to bed and could sleep any way I liked! With that I went straight to buy some bras! It's so different to go into a lingerie department with excitement rather than dread. I can't wait for another few months when I can buy some pretty under wired bras too.
In terms of appearance they now look far more natural. They've settled down although still a little wide but softening so can push them inwards a bit.
My scars continue to smoothen by massaging moisturiser twice a day for 30 seconds or so (consultant said the silicone gel I was using wasn't necessary so I've stopped using it and now use moisturiser every morning and night)
I'm very happy with my new boobs. Absolutely no regrets at all. Just starting to enjoy them now and looking forward to trying different styles of tops on that I used to avoid.
I've also got back into running. Done a few 4km runs and my fitness levels feel fine but there is a little stretching feeling in my left breast so have eased up on it a bit and been massaging it out. Hopefully that will release soon.

The last week or so has flown by as life has resumed to normal.
I'm religiously applying silicone gel to my scars morning and night and they are feeling less bumpy but still more visible than I expected. Will give them time.
The only thing that is bothering me is having to wear the support bra day and night. I think the waistband is too tight as it leaves real marks. It's 32C and I think u need 34C. I am seeing my surgeon for the first time since the day of surgery next Tuesday so will see if they can give me a bigger support bra. I also want to ask about exercise and if I can resume running and what restrictions there are. I've been walking 12,000 steps a day and feel fit and well just don't want to risk damaging anything with higher impact exercise until I get the all clear to do so. Also keen to know when I can change to a normal bra albeit not under wired.
On a side note my little boy asked what the 'bump' was on my chest when I leant down and hugged him in his bed the other day. I said its my booby and he said it's big! Ha ha. Maybe he has noticed afterall but I won't say anything. Just trying to make sure the kids don't see me naked in the shower and freak out at the scars. That would be awful.
I'm also set on keeping the fact that I've had a boob job a secret. I've only told a select few on a needs to know basis. Today I was out with a group of mums who have just had babies and were talking about how their boobs had gone saggy and were joking that next they want a boob job to put them back in place. I really had to bite my tongue and nod in agreement. If only they knew lol!

So hard keeping it a secret- I am doing the same!
Thank goodness we can share everything in confidence on this site. It's so good to be able to openly talk about it. How are you doing?
I know! I’d go crazy if I couldn’t talk about it with someone- very thankful for this site! I’m doing well- still sore but muscle spasms are gone. Seem to be dropping a bit! Nipples are still super sensitive.
Hopefully he’ll let you change bras soon it’s so frustrating isn’t it! Boobs look great and good to hear the silicone gel is doing a good job. Mine feel very bumpy so I might try the gel and alternate. Thanks for the tip! Also love this sight for how open we can be!
I used kelokote on my scars to help with the bumpiness!
That's exactly the stuff I'm using. Did you find it helped?
I'm currently using it on an older scar as I have my sutures still covered and it has helped with the older elevated scar!!

As time goes on I'm increasingly happy with the results. The size is just what I wanted : ) I'm just hoping that they come out of my arm pits at some point.
They are feeling softer but still a lot of numbness which is a little disturbing when you touch yourself but can't feel it. Anyway hopefully that will go away once the nerves repair.
Today I started applying silicone gel to my scars. Hoping they get less bumpy and less visible at some point.
Let's see how they continue to heal.
