Breast augmentation surgery 2 weeks post op review

So I underwent BA surgery on 25/09/18. Ever since I was 16 I was interested in breast augmentation. Obviously your body is still developing at that age so I waited and waited until i was 23 and it hit me that I feel so awful about the way I looked. I didn’t feel womanly, I had no curves. I could work out at the gym to build up my lower half but I always felt demotivated because I’d never feel completely satisfied with my look which would slow my progress.
I hated trying on dresses and shirts because I didn’t fill anything out. I just didn’t feel womanly at all. So finally my friend told me about MYA and how easy the process was. I had a consultation there, and at Harley Medical and then also at Transform as eventually (after a lot of research) I wanted Dr Frati and Transform had him. Not to mention I could meet him at Birmingham which was closer to Manchester and London clinics. Transform were very helpful and explained all about the implants and the 10 year guarantee for an extra £200 (no brainer) which I found very reassuring. The surgery costed just over £5000. I met with the surgeon who was short and to the point and I didn’t mind that style, it felt professional. Perhaps this could bother some other people. Anyway he noticed one of my breast were smaller than the other and asked me about my size. I was a 34A/B and wanted to be a D. I didn’t want to look out of place with my petite frame and said I would like to go 350cc but he said if I wish to go bigger I could but I decided against it. He said I’d have 325cc and 350cc high profile mentor implants placed partially under the muscle. My surgery was very smooth. I went to Dolan Park Hospital in Birmingham which was beautiful and clean with very helpful staff. The hospital room was comfy and I had my partner there with me all day after recovery. I won’t lie to you ladies, I felt a lot of pain after waking up and the pain is less intense after a few days to a week. I’m now on week two, I’m very happy about my size but I do have a few concerns about the swelling of my breasts but I know it’s early days. Also I’ve got some strange sensations and shooting pains in my nipples and weird numbness and muscle spasms. Also it feels weird when I bend over or twist slightly. Cleavage area feels very tight. But I’m not too concerned about this. What is concerning me however at this stage is that the breast with the smaller implant is the one that’s more swollen and I’m currently in the process of speaking to my nurse and surgeon about this as I felt it should be the other way round and no one else seems to had experienced this issue and also be confused by this too which doesn’t fill me with confidence. It was the bigger breast originally maybe that’s why it appears more swollen and I’m also right handed so they said the left breast muscle may be more shocked as it doesn’t get as much activity. But I’m still concerned. Overall I’m happy with my experience and my size and I’m so excited for when they drop and fluff! It’s just the smaller implant that’s giving me some concern but I will do another review once I’ve seen my surgeon again in 6 weeks.
