Surgery Day and Recovery Day 1

My stats: 36 years old, 3 kids (13, 10, and 3) all breast fed, 5 foot 6, 140 pounds, size 2/4 jeans. My bra measurements should make me a 32B but I've never been able find a bra in any size that doesn't gap at the top.
The surgery went well. The anesthesia kicked my butt. I ended up throwing up several times in the recovery room but I only remember once. My husband felt like they were kind of rushing me out of there and I agree. We had talked before hand and agreed that they wouldn't bring my husband into the recovery room until I was fully awake (around 30 minutes after surgery) but they brought him in only 5 minutes after I got into the recovery room. It's not the end of the world or anything but I really don't like anyone seeing me in that condition. It's like being really drunk (which I stopped drinking 6 years ago) and I either end up being really emotional or a huge bitch. Apparently I was just loopy but I don't remember much of anything and I really don't like that feeling. Other than that I have no complains about the way things went.
My Dr, anesthesiologist, and nurses were all great. We didn't have a lot of wait time before getting into the surgery room. They were quick and efficient and also friendly and talkative. They explained everything that was happening and everything that was going to happen.
Once the Dr was in there he checked the different sizes of implants we had discussed before hand and decided the 275 would fit me best so that's what I got. Natrelle SRM 275cc on both sides.
Today was my 24 hour follow-up and he said everything looks good. I can shower today so that's exciting. My implants are sitting a little high so he has me wearing a band across the top of my chest to help guide the implants into their correct spot. I wear that and the special bra until my 2 week checkup. After that I can wear a sports bra for another 2 weeks, and then graduate to a regular bra without an under wire for 3 months and then after that I can wear whatever bra I want.
I was in a lot of pain right after surgery yesterday. I don't like to take narcotics but I did take 1 oxycodone shortly before bed but since then I've just been alternating between ibuprofen and Tylenol. It's still sore and I can't use those muscles without it hurting but it's way more manageable than yesterday. Surprisingly the center area of my boobs don't hurt at all. It hurts under where the incisions are and on the outside closest to my arm pits and a little in the center between the boobs. The center pain is likely because I have a wide gap between my boobs and the Dr and I decided that it would be best if he cut a little on the inside so that the implants could sit a little closer to center and give me some cleavage. I think that will be worth it.
Right now my boobs look funny but I'm sure they will look better as time goes on and my skin stretches and muscles relax.
I'll keep updating as time goes by. I know being able to see other people's experiences has really helped me in making my decision to go through with the implants and I'd like to help anyone else looking into it also.
