My experience was great.
My check in time was originally 12:15.
My husband was my help for the day and after that morning of surgery we dropped our littles off with a family member and we’re ready as they said they could call and move up my appointment, so be ready.
I actually wasn’t too nervous leading up. I have had surgery before (not cosmetic) but I got the entire procedure, being put under etc.
They called my around 10:30 and asked if I can make it in by 11:30. I was thrilled. First thought was I’m hungry and I can eat an hour earlier! lol
We got there about 11:40. Took my temp. Checked in. Then I went into a check in room. The nurse was super sweet. I want to say her name was karlee (I’m not the best with names)
She went over my history I had filled out. Made sure to weigh me. Go over if I had eaten, took all meds prior to check in that were prescribed and gave me a gown and socks to change into.
Next Dr. Salemy came in and was ready to do my markings. He made is markings made sure I was comfortable moving forward and with the sizing. I trusted his judgement and am glad I did!
Next the anesthesiologist came in and she was so nice! She went over my history again told me more about the procedure and made sure I was ready.
Another nurse then came in to take me to the operating room. Where I was greeted by the all the staff I had spoke with prior.
I laid on the table and then the nerves hit. I wanted to cry. I started thinking about my kids and husband and of course being put under.
They could tell I was feeling nervous and they started talking to me about my kids and I really want to say how sweet they all were. It helped me relax and I felt a little poke as they said in my hand. Next thing I remember is waking up asking for my husband.
He couldn’t come in due to Covid. But waited in the hall because the parking garage as they mentioned didn’t have cell service. They did a good job updating him snd I was happy to see him.
I was very out of it the nurses helped me get dressed and into a wheelchair. I recommend wearing sweatpants and a baggy zip up hoodie. They have to dress you so do not wear anything tight. Think Comfort over beauty :)
After I got into the wheelchair we met with my husband the nurse explained my meds to him and we were hedging home.
I am extremely thankful for choosing Dr. Salemys office. They know what they are doing and he may be higher priced than other places but you get top of the line service and results.

Hiya, How are you recovering? Is the pain manageable? I think I've decided on 310 (no bigger anyway). Xx

Also, how are you getting on with the kids? Mine are a similar age to yours.

It's honestly been such an easy process! I've had to remind myself to slow down because we're not suppose to lift/exercise. My kids have been really good. My son did challenge me at the store because he knew I couldn't pick him up, and he took advantage of his freedom since he wasn't in a cart. So if you're going through some terrible twos maybe keep that outing in mind lol.

I'm glad you've been doing well. That's great to know. My youngest is 18 months. I think I'll avoid any shopping then lol!

Aww! So happy to read you are happy with your results. How was your first night? Can you share some recommendations for that day of surgery? And others for the recovery as your days go along, please :-)

My first night I honestly didn't get a lot of sleep. I'm a stomach sleeper and sleeping upright on my back was definitely not the normal. Yes I for sure will keep updating! And maybe write on what I did surgery day and after :)

Congrats! I'm booked on October 19th and have two little kids so am mostly nervous about post op and being around them.. do you feel like yourself right after? Or are you scared to move because of pain? Did your kids notice your boobs? I know it sounds weird but I'm not sure how I will talk aboit it if they ask. Im also scared for them to see me in pain bc I don't want yo worry them. I'm so excited tho!! I'm barely an A and they look similar to your before.. do you know what size bra you are now yet? Thanks for sharing all your details!!

How old are your kids? Mine are two new six. They knew I had surgery and have an "owie" they didn't ask. I feel like my 6 year old may notice once I'm not strapped into this bra. She said why did you have surgery and we told her to fix my chest, if she mentions it being bigger I plan to just lead with yes they fixed my chest lol. I was small prior too. I don't know what size I am but I'm thinking a small D or full C. I tried on a D bra from American eagle I bought it seemed a little big but I did fill it. It was underwire. I did order some bras today a 36C to try from Victoria's Secret. I'm actually not in a ton of pain. My right side gets sore quicker because I'm right handed. You don't realize how much of your chest muscle you use for little things. I honestly did super well with the surgery and feel better than I thought. But I'm still resting no picking up anything. I'm very happy I did it. You'll do great!

Thanks for your feedback!! Mine are 5 and 3... they will definitely notice lol. Maybe I can say I ate my vegetables.

Anyway glad that you're recovery is going well and thanks again for posting your journey!!

You look great!! I had my BA on 26th October 2020 so 8 weeks post op tomorrow & feel great! I was an A cup & had 295cc to a full C cup. I think I would have gone a size bigger but previously I’ve always been tiny & as I had little skin tissue was advised not to as I would maybe have more complications but overall extremely happy with the results!!

Amazing!

So happy with my results one day post-op.

I just had my appointment and got to see my new boobs! I love them. My pain is tolerable. I feel sore. I’ve not taken any narcotics but probably will to sleep.

Dr.Salemy is very kind and truly has an eye for what your body can handle. I wanted to do 305cc he really felt good about the 285cc on me and I agree! I’m thankful to of had him as my surgeon. All of the nurses were top of the line. And you definitely won’t be disappointed choosing their office.

I will add photos as things move along too!
