Surgery booked
WORTH IT$6,225
I have finally decided after many years of wanting breast implants, especially after my two kids, to go ahead with the surgery. After online research and reading through reviews, I decided to go with Dr. Andrade. I had my initial consultation about two weeks ago and he was very informative, although I had already researched a ton about it. I appreciated the time and detail to the whole process from start to finish and clearly outlining precautions and possible unfavourable outcomes that can occur in some cases. The staff there are very friendly and don’t make you feel pressured in anyway.
I went back to the clinic today to try sizers on as I was unsure which I was going with the first time. This time I took pictures to reflect on so I could see afterwards and I decided to go with the 375cc moderate silicone cohesive implant. I am currently an A cup, which for my broad shoulders is manly to me. 4 more weeks until surgery!

Changed my mind
So I decided to go with the 405cc instead of the 375. I was a little worried the 375cc wouldn’t be enough. Hopefully I made the right choice! 17 more days!!!

Im struggling with sizing right now! My PS and I have chosen 380 cc moderate silicone over the muscle as of now and my surgery is in 3 days! Im worried they wont be big enough. I love your profile (side view) pic (on the post you were asking if you went to big)! That is an awesome profile shape you have! Im 5'4" and about 127lbs Im soooo debating on going up to the low 400's

I was back and forth with size as well. I had originally chosen 375cc moderate as well but dual plane position but ended up changing my mind based on my sizer photos. Did you try on sizers? Particularly the ones you've chosen vs the next size up? I love my boobs but I sometime think, did I go too big? which most people don't but ultimately I'm happy with them. In my mind I'd rather have gone the next size up and debated if they were slightly too big, rather than think they were too small. It's really up to the individual in the end but go with your gut as well as your surgeons recommendations. I believe most girls debate a bit on the size up until surgery day. I wish you luck with your decision and your recovery.

Implants are in
I had my surgery yesterday, everything went well. I was in some pain coming home, the speed bumps and pot holes hurt! By the time I got home I was actually feeling pretty good, I started to help with putting my kids to sleep (no lifting or anything of course) but soon after I could tell it was too much for me as pain and heaviness in the chest began. My first night wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, I slept somewhat sitting up but I slid down a little by the time I awoke. Getting out of bed is very challenging, I actually really dread doing it because of the pain, but you sort of have to push through it. I have my surgical bra on but it’s so tight it puts a lot of pressure on my sternum which is quite painful right now. So I have the first like 3-4 clasps undone. I don’t know if the bra is too small or if this is how tight it should be.
I was given opioids for the pain, but I have a fear of addiction so I won’t take them although I could have used them early this morning. I’m going to power through. This is something I’ve wanted for a while so to have a little pain now to get all the gain later is worth it to me.

Congrats on taking this big step and thank you for sharing the beginning of your journey! Hope all goes well in a few weeks and looking forward to your update :)
