Wish I Did This Sooner!
WORTH IT
I'm based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and I did an enormous amount of research on surgeons who specialize in the Motiva Preserve technique. Bar none, Dr. Mark Epstein came out on top. He trains other physicians in this technique and has been performing it longer and more often than anyone else in the U.S., which is exactly why I was willing to fly to New York for it.
I could not be happier with that decision.
I wanted a very natural result, just a little more fullness up top, and went with 160 cc in both breasts. Dr. Epstein's expertise with Preserve is what sold me.
Honestly, the part I was most nervous about was going under anesthesia. Because Preserve is so minimally invasive, I was able to have sedation instead. Dr. Spaliaris, the anesthesiologist, was an angel. She called me the night before to walk me through everything, and by the time I was in the OR I felt completely relaxed and genuinely excited for the procedure to start. That says a lot coming from someone who was terrified.
The whole thing was quick. I was in and out in about three hours. I only needed Advil and Tylenol for the first 24 hours, and the discomfort has been very manageable.
Best of all, my results are perfect, and I'm only three days out.
What I appreciate most is that Dr. Epstein and his entire staff truly listen. They take the time to understand what you want and make sure you're comfortable every step of the way.
My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner!
