After three years, seeking explant
I’ve had these for three years, I think. I’m having weird issues with my left side. I think it might be the start of capsular contracture. About a year ago, I had been thinking of removal because I felt so unnatural, but decided I was just under a lot of stress and to not make a big decision then. But it’s a year later and I’m having these oddities with my left side and I really do want them out. It was fun to have bigger breasts at first, and it was exciting to buy bigger bras, but I feel like they just don’t belong to me anymore. Even when I had super small (nearly totally flat) breasts, at least they were MY flat breasts. I also find I can’t do push-ups like I used to and I can’t comfortably lie down on my stomach. I work out a lot and that was important to me. I don’t care if I go back to my before photos. It was interesting to experience larger breasts, but I’m over it. I want to feel like me again. I’ll be seeking out surgeons and figuring out how I’m going to finance this. What an expensive lesson to learn! Ugh. But I want my real body back. I will update as this journey continues.

Are you enjoying your size yet? :) I think they look really perfect :)
Yes, I'm so happy I didn't go any bigger. They look smaller to me in my photos than they do when I look down at them. Lol. But that's ok...I got the size I wanted...I am happy. Thanks for asking.
They really do suit your frame and are dropping nicely, gives me hope for mine:) it is very hard being patient:)
Can I ask if you wore a surgical bra after and for how long? My PS said nothing about wearing one and I've been wearing sports bras
Hmm...interesting. They fitted me for a surgical bra at the time of my sizing. They put me in the bra during surgery. I probably wore it for a good six weeks. It was not pretty, but it made me feel held together and comfortable. Maybe you should ask what they recommend. I have read that sports bras are ok but to wear the kind that encapsulates each of the "girls" separately instead of the kind that just smooshes them together. Lmk what you find out.
Hey there! Youre looking great and giving me inspiration for my 210's in three days! Have you checked youre bra sie yet? if so could you tell me what is it?:) Take care!!
oops I meant to say bra size
Thanks! I love them...perfect for me! I think you will love 210s! You may already have had surgery...I see you said three days and it's been three since your post, so I'm sorry if I didn't respond in time. But I was measured once at a running store for a sports bra and they told me I was a 32B yet some of their 32Bs were too tight. VS sized me at a full 32B/small 32C. But again, many of their 32Bs were too tight. I don't think I look like a C cup, but what do I know after being flat for so long! Maybe they are vanity sizing bras now too! Lol...anyway, you will do great and I would like to hear how it goes and see pics! Best wishes!
Hi. How are you doing? I've just had 200cc mod profile silicone under muscle put in - just like you! But I'm only just embarking on the recovery journey. You must be three months post op? Are they feeling soft now? Have you got back into your exercise? I love to run. It's the only exercise I do. But that's off the cards for 6 weeks! Gah! Hope your feeling good. :-)
Hi there! I'm just now five months post op. Everything is going well so far. Yes, they feel a lot softer and they have dropped. I don't have what I call "armpit boobs" anymore! Lol! I have been doing everything since about six weeks post op. Certain arm exercises still feel somewhat uncomfortable, but I have nearly full range of motion without any discomfort in most moves. One thing I still cannot do is a full push up. I'm a little worried and disappointed, as that was one exercise I really liked and was good at. I have an appointment on Monday and will ask about that. Running was fine after six weeks, just had to get a really sturdy sports bra. You look great, btw! They look like the perfect size for you. I think you made a good choice!
Thanks for replying. 5 months on! Super. And so good to hear you're back to 99% of your exercise. Shame about the push-ups. What about 'half' push-ups? Like from the knee, can you handle those? I'll be interested to hear what your PS says about doing push-ups. So far I am pleased with my size. Soo glad I didn't go any bigger. I think once these settle they will be just right as they're a tad too big right now. Will be funny 'needing' a sturdy bra for running. As usually I only wore a padded sport bra to give shape while running, rather then support. All the best with ur appointment with PS. :-)
I haven't tried from-the-knee push ups, but I can go halfway down in a regular form. Just wish I could do a full one :-( we shall see! I'm glad I didn't go any bigger as well. Sometimes I even wish they were just a touch smaller, but on the other hand, I have yet to experience boob envy. Never once have I lamented "oh, I wish I went bigger" so I think I did the right size. The problem I had is that my ribs stick out so far...even with just 50cc smaller, they were still competing with my boobs. But that is something I preferred aesthetically, not necessarily the way one's body must look, you know? On the sports bra...I felt like I only needed a really supportive one for those first few weeks of running. Now I can get away with medium support. So you probably won't need a straight jacket forever. Lol! I will let you know what my PS says about the push ups. How have you been feeling?
Sounds like you picked perfect size for you - how good to know hey! Definitely feeling like I'm in a straight jacket right now. Ha. And I've got weeks ahead of it too. I have been feeling pretty good thanks. On day 3 now. HAve decided to just keep up with the meds routine for another day (even though I think I feel good) and then think about reducing a bit tomorrow. I am definitely not on the couch the whole day. Am moving around the house most of the day doing 'small' jobs and cooking a few things etc. :-)
Sounds like how I was. Think I was done with most of the meds on day five, maybe seven. And up and about. Listening to your body is the best way...as I'm sure you know :-)

So what size did you end up with? They look good, small, but they feel you out a little more than before.
Thanks. I went with 200cc. I wanted to be on the small side so I am ok with it! Lol. In fact, I think they are a teensy bit too big, but after not having anything my whole life, I'm not going to complain!
They look perfect for your frame! Thank you, I feel better about making my decision on Friday, thanks for all your comments:)
No problem at all. Happy to help any way I can! Let me know how your appointment goes.
I had my consult and I feel good about my decision, tried on sizers and like 175 but also don't mind 200, the 225 I took out immediately, not for me. I have to make a decision between the 175 and 200. My PS said that when given 3 choices, most will say no way to the largest, say they like the smallest but will usually choose the middle because they can live with that. I liked the smallest but it was quite small and barely noticeable while the 200 was just a tad bigger. Not sure what to do. I also am only 3 weeks out as I booked for March 13th and am still 2 weeks with a bad cold and need to get stuff for my post op and am not sure what I will need. Can you recommend what you felt helped in your post op?
Do you think if you had chosen 175 you would have noticed the difference? I think I want 175 but feel a tad pressured to choose 200, as my husband feels what's the point if there isn't even a noticeable difference whatsoever, even though I would notice ANY difference and I like being smaller up top, just want to be a B cup.
I can't honestly say if I would have noticed a difference because I never tried 175cc. I know that I like the way I look in the 200cc even though I was skeptical and worried I had gone too big. When I look at myself naked, I think they look big but not over the top. But anything is big to me after what I had! Probably you feel the same. When I have clothes on, I feel like I look pretty normal sized. I have had a couple photos taken since with clothes on and I do not think I look like I just had my boobs done. Lol. I'm glad I went with 200cc over 150cc.
As far as what to get for recovery, the standout thing to me is comfortable clothes, namely pants. I thought I would be ok with leggings but the waist band was too elastic for my arms to pull up every time I went to the bathroom or just getting dressed. Drawstring or a stretchier waistband worked a lot better. I didn't struggle pulling them up. And definitely button up shirts and pajamas. Other than that, just a good stash of food, movies, magazines, and books. Oh, straws helped in the early stages...easier to maneuver drinking. Oh, one last thing...I went to get measured for a sports bra and they said I am a B cup.
