After wanting breast implants since as far back as I can remember, maybe 16 years old I decided I wanted them and no matter what I was going to get them. Well, here I am 34 years old had children and breast fed my daughter, I am FINALLY getting them. I have been in relationships that were totally unsupportive. My parents are unsupportive, really no one has ever wanted me to do this. I have been with a wonderful man for 2 years now who supports me 100%. He says he loves me exactly as I am but it's not his body. I have to do what I need to do to feel good about myself and the way I look. So after all this time my surgery is scheduled for March 4th. In 3 days I will be getting my breast augmentation! I always hear people saying they should have gone bigger. If they were to do it again they would go bigger..... so screw it! I'm going big! I'm not paying all this money to have regrets! Dr. Singer and Cynthia in her office are wonderful. They spent the time with me that I needed. Cynthia stayed after everyone else had left and the office was closed to make sure I understood everything and all my questions were answered. I am so grateful they have put me so at ease! I will post pictures and updates as I progress! If anyone has ANY advice on what I'll need post op please let me know!

So surgery went really well. She had a hard time getting the implants in and had to make bigger pockets so the surgery took a lot longer then we expected. I'm in a bit of pain.... although not quite as much as I thought I would be. I needed help getting in and out of bed the day of the surgery but I'm doing fine with that now. What everyone forgets to tell you about is after you initially wake up from the anesthesia is that your FREEZING! Like painfully freezing and shivering uncontrollably! That was the most miserable part for me . I kept trying to call out for someone but it was so hard to make the sound come out! I eventually got the nurse Vanessa's attention and she was amazing she made sure I was nice and warm she even threw a robe in the dryer and sent me home in it to make sure I was nice and warm. I didn't have any nausea up until the time she asked me to stand up i sat up fine no issues but when ne feet hit the floor it was all bad. Thank god Vanessa went with the quickness got out the fast acting nausea meds and gave it to me. It was instantly gone! I was SO THANKFUL! She was like a little tiny ninja lol. She was so amazing threw everything.
I went to the post op today. The doctor cancelled the one they scheduled the day after the surgery because she said I was done g so extremely well she wanted to leave the special dressings in one more day. They look like weird alien boobs right now but I know they looked great in a couple weeks. Tomorrow I'm going to spend more time out if bed. Today I'm just trying to rest. I'll give another update soon and left me know if anyone has questions this site is WONDERFUL. It really made this process so much easier for me.

Day 5 PO went back to work.

So I went back to work today and it wasn't quite as bad as I expected as I'm on my feet and walking most of the day. I did feel fatigued after lunch and got a bit nauseous from the antibiotics and vitamins I am taking.(which was my own fault because rather than eat on lunch I napped in my car for an hour) other then that it went pretty well. I did leave 2 hours early because of the nausea. I am finding most of my pain is not at the surgical site or the incisions... it's on my sides where I have significant bruising and swelling. I'm assuming this is because she had a really hard time getting my implants all the way in. I'm not exactly sure why but I'll find out on Wednesday during my second post op appt. The rest of my pain is in between my shoulder blades and my lower back from having to sleep upright. My butt is even soar from the position. I think I can sleep normal now but I didn't want to take any chances. I've been really careful but I have found myself living my arm a little too high a couple times and or accidentally using my chest muscles. I IMMEDIATELY realize it and stop as fast as I can because I'm TERRIFIED of causing a capsular contraction. Knowing me I would cause my own issues. I AM PRAYING. I DON'T SCREW UP! If anyone has any questions I am more then happy to answer them and I will share as many pictures as I can. I still look like I have alien boobs in my throat and will for about a month. God PLEASE LOOK GOOD FOR MY CRUISE IN THE BEGINNING OF APRIL!!!!!

I don't feel as concerned as I see yours are still as high as mine! I'm on day 7 and they are still very high and swelling has not subsided although the pain has gone down and every day it gets a little easier. Yesterday I went to work and I felt sick all day but I think it was nerves and stress that something was wrong because of my swelling and I was in pain but I went back on arnica and ibprophen and having it round the clock since yesterday and today my pain is a little less. Swelling no, that hasn't changed since day 1- and of course my nurse said well it could take 9 months and I thought what?!!!! No way! But I guess I'll wait it out! I know larger you go the longer the recovery typically.

You did this for yourself and no one else. But I think they look wonderful, and they will end up looking and being spectacular boobs in the future. Your story, I can relate to you and its an inspiration to see your success. Are you happy that you did it?
