Best Scar Treatment Options?
Hello! I’m getting my stitches removed on Wednesday and was wondering if anyone has had really good luck with specific scar treatments? The scar doesn’t feel thick of bumpy (besides the stitches) so I think it healed nicely. I really just want to start fading mine fast!!

I’m Regretting my Boob Job.
Hi everyone. Today is day 6 after having surgery last week. Before I start this post, I want to say my breasts look amazing. My surgeon did an incredible job. My nipples line up. My breasts aren’t too big. They look so natural. On the other hand….
Recovery from surgery has been AWFUL. I’ve had discomfort bending down, twisting pill bottles open, sitting up, feels like my sternum is bruised completely and my incisions burn (however, incisions have not bled at all). My surgeon also did not want me touching my breasts at all for the first week and I followed through. Except, yesterday I was putting on a zip up and my fingers swiped against my breasts and they felt like rubber??? Please tell me this is just a phase.
I’ve been so emotional since surgery and regretting it and considering getting the implants removed if what I’m feeling is permanent. Any advice? Will these discomforts go away? Again it’s only day 6.
If it’s helpful, I got 235cc silicone implant under the muscle.

Hey! So I haven’t had my procedure yet, so I can’t say from first hand experience. However I’ve done a lot of research and what your feeling is normal… it’s called the “boobie blues”. I think it’s a combo of dealing with the healing process and seeing your new body / adjusting to it. Those feelings should go away as you heal and things go back to normal. If you’re still feeling that way around the 4-6 week mark then maybe discuss with your doctor. Remember, healing takes around 4-6 weeks and then your new boobs won’t be in their final place until around 6-12 months. It’s definitely a process, hang in there!
Hi lovely, I really feel for you reading this post. I’m about 8 days post surgery now and I have had very similar feelings over the past few days but I now feel that i’m turning a corner…. And I agree with Tobi031700 that this post surgery blues is very common in the first week so I wasn’t too worried about taking these doubts seriously.
I also had a lot of pain and discomfort around my ribs and down my stomach, I had to have someone help me get up and out of bed for the first 2 days…. And I couldn’t flush the toilet, open doors, or bottles, bend over, cough etc…. But again this is expected after surgery under the pec muscle so you’re not alone. I have been very careful not to try to do too much too soon but I am able to get around the house on my own now and do light chores/tasks, I just don’t do anything too strenuous and I can’t reach too high yet either. But I did start to feel a hell of a lot better from around day 7… so hang in there I think you’ll really notice a difference in the next few days and I hoping from week 2 we’ll be able to pretty much function without the pain. I took my painkillers religiously 3 times a day for the first week too. I’ve only just stopped taking them to see how I am and it’s fine so far.
As for the rubbery feeling, yes it’s really weird when you brush over your boob and don’t feel it but they say sensation can take a good few months even up to a year to come back. It’s a slow process but I am hopeful it will come back. I’ve been getting tiny little stabbing/tingling pains behind my nipples recently which is a good sign as it means the nerves are starting to heal and sensation is on its way back. So it sounds like all the things your are experiencing are really normal and you just need to give yourself a break, relax and hang in there. Recovery is very much a marathon not a sprint (which is hard for me as i’m so impatient! Lol)
Our bodies have been through pretty major surgery so I try to do some slow breaths and thank my body every morning for healing and being strong throughout this process. It might help you connect back in with your breasts even though they feel strange to the touch right now. :)
It’s awesome that you’re happy with your size already too! Mine are taking a while to settle I’ve been so swollen and bloated all over my torso that I couldn’t fit into some of my old jeans and my boobs looked too puffy but i’m starting to get back to my normal size now which is a relief.
Anyway all the best to you and your lovely new boobs. Xx

Oh thank you thank you thank you for this wonderful comment!! I’m having like a slight stabbing pain from the left side (almost feels like rib?) but I’m happy to know that’s normal as well. I hope your recovery keeps going smoothly as well. I’m officially off my pain killers as well and muscle relaxers so now it’s time to let nature take its course lol
Recovery is hard... I had my first BA at 17 due to deformation, I got 325-350cc. I felt the same way you did at that time but it got better around 2-3 weeks and then I felt amazing around 6-8 weeks. When you take the compression off and can go bra shopping. The discomfort was all gone at 6 weeks. I had a revision a week ago and this time around discomfort and pain is non existent due to already having the pockets made. I had 450-465 this time and there's a lot of swelling on the left side as that did need a little bit of work, so I'm just worried it won't look good... you'll be okay, what you're feeling is normal and it does hurt for a few weeks. If you need someone to talk to feel free to inbox me.
Thank you for your words!!! I really appreciate it. I have a slight like stabbing pain (like not painful but definitely uncomfortable) near my incision/left ribs but I guess know that’s normal. I just hope it goes away
I'm sorry to here you're having a tough time, I'm 3 weeks post up and had a full lift with anchor incision and areola reduction. I did 235cc over the muscle because I like to lift. I have almost zero pain, I had tightness and fullness the first week but it's pretty much gone. Hope you feel better soon.
Hi! I'm sorry your recovery is difficult! Let me reassure you that it will get better soon! For me, it took about 4 weeks to feel completely comfortable, and maybe 7 to love my new breasts. Give it some time, this is all completely normal :)
Thank you so much!!! Your words have definitely helped my anxiety. I just have a slight sharp discomfort near my incision/left rib but I guess that is normal since the pecs are stretching I just wish that would go away. It’s been 7 days now since surgery day and I’m able to do a lot of things on my own my chest just still feels very heavy plus I still have stitches in which causes lots of restrictions
