It’s the Lack of Empathy for Me

went in for breast aug on May 6 ,2020 2 days later was put back under do to hematoma he washed out and put same implant in (this is when i believe i contracted a infection ) i went on for weeks and eventually developed capsular contrature was put on 6 ultrasound treatments then taken off contraction came back . november came and i began feeling a knuckle sticking through my areola area which created a small scab that came off and under was a tiny hole present i reached out and was told to see my OBGYN!! because he wasn't knowledgeable about what was happening i ended up in the ER was told i had an infection and that my implant was extruding through my skin . the next day the hole had got bigger and finally he took it out i was infected for 6 months and made him aware before hand something was wrong and was ignored several times as if i didnt matter or I was making it up im now stuck with a permanent reminder i have a deformed right breast with a tethered scar and havent heard from his office no call to check on me Nor did he suggest options with fixing this he made it seem as if it was because I was to thin but I had gained 10 lbs after surgery it was an Infection! I was told wait 3-6 months before surgery I have sutures sticking out my areola, i dont know what kinda of infection i had ,cultures weren't done after to assure i am on the correct antibiotics either ....... looking for a great surgeon to fix it in couple of months once I’m healthy again

I also would like to warn those that this dr is not a board certified plastic surgeon he is cosmetic. Please be sure to look up credentials first . I am out of lots of money and the dr did nothing but try to give me a quote for another surgery be careful ladies .

I want to update and let you guys know I’ve found happiness in a new doctor he is a board certified plastic surgeon I can’t wait to see my results had zero complications this time . They call me almost every day they are compassionate and care about their patients. Only regrets is allowing myself to be fooled and mis handled .
