Rhinoplasty + Breast Implants

WORTH IT$4,000
I went to mono cosmetics on the 22nd July to get rhinoplasty and breast Implants. I am from the uk, so flew from London and went with Dr Idris. Dr Idris is a good doctor, and will only carry out work to a natural and safe way. He will also be honest if it’s unachievable. His English is amazing and he can communicate as a doctor in the uk would with all the correct medical jargon. The clinic is also lovely and clean. However, the surgery will take place in a public hospital with patients of all sorts of needs, not just plastic surgery. My results are amazing so far. It’s faultless. I am still swollen on my face but the results are already incredible! The breast are also swollen but I know they are gonna be amazing too.
Pros: The price is the biggest pro, it’s so cheap in turkey for literally everything with the same result as the UK, in some occasions better. For instance, 3 course meal for 2 cost me 15 pound. I had breast implants and rhinoplasty priced up in the uk, and they quoted be 7000 gbp for rhinoplasty and 5000 gbp for breast implants. I saved so much, and didn’t loose out on quality. Some may also see it as a holiday, as they may not experience much pain dependent on the treatment they choose but I was in a lot pain the first couple of days which meant I didn’t want do anything but sleep. However, the pain subsides within days, and if you want you can explore. It was too hot for me too do so, so I just chilled in the hotel. So cons: There are a few things to consider before coming here, the nurses speak no English during your stay in the hospital and you have to rely on google translate to communicate. ( you can call the coordinators who will translate for you)I was in agony when I woke up ( I can’t lie) and that was the last thing on my mind to do. The nurses are lovely and will help you with whatever. You have a buzzer near your bed and they will come all most instantly. Some of the forms which I filled out are not in English, but the coordinator will translate and ask you to sign. It was slightly scary in the hospital but everything happens so quickly, which means you don’t really think about it. Once I was discharged from hospital, I felt much better and comfortable. Personally I wouldn’t reccomened coming on your own. ( especially for breast implants as you will have a lot of pain, well in my experience for the first couple of days)I didn’t stay in the villa, so I am unsure if you get extra care there which may make it feasible to come on your own. However, you have surgery; and then 4 days later you go into the clinic where the doctor will do the first check up and then I had a last check on my last day which was 7 day post op. ( cast removal) I literally stayed in the hotel the whole time and ordered room service and only went out during check ups. The pain - rhinoplasty, there isn’t much pain with rhinoplasty I will be totally honest. It’s more a sense of pressure on your nose, and you feel congested, especially if you have nasal packing. ( gets removed 4 days post op) you will swell up, a lot, but majority of the pain goes down within a week, I still am experiencing some swelling 7 days post op, but my nose is currently taped to reduce swelling for a further 7 days. I would give the pain 3/10 but I wouldn’t call it pain, it’s just more uncomfortable and sensitive. You can come on your own if you are just wanting rhinoplasty but I would advise staying in the villa if so; so you have company. The pain - breast implants, for me it was painful. The next day I couldn’t do anything, standing up hurt so much it felt like stabbing pains in my chest. The only way I could get up is if my partner helped me. However, I only felt this when I had been lying down for period time, and would get up and I would have to sit for few minutes for the pain to stop. 4-5 hours after surgery, I walked and went to the toilet. It was so painful. The nurse had to pull my pants down for me. I couldn’t even flush the toilet . My arms felt so tender. Day to day, I just get really tight, but everyday gets better. I also feel movement in there, I think it’s the nerves or the muscle getting use to the implant. However it’s not really a painful feeling. Day 2-4 was the worst with the pain. I would give it a 7/10. However, everyone is different, I have spoken to girls who felt very little pain at all and just felt slight tightness. I was also so so bloated to be prepare for that. I think it’s the medication that you take and the fluids they give you during surgery. I still feel bloated 7 days post op, but now I’m off the pain killers, it should get better. Having surgery is a big thing to consider, and it’s important you understand the differences from having surgery in the UK and turkey. The DR work is amazing and it shows in his work and I love my results. However, you have to consider the whole process from the travelling abroad, surgery, recovery abroad, and then travelling back. If I had to give any advice, it would be bring someone so you have someone familiar support. The team at Mono are lovely, constantly checking in on you, and are there if you need anything. My only regret is not doing it sooner! Message me if you have any questions, I will be open and honest with my journey.

Oh wow I am excited for you!! For me, I just stayed in the hotel the whole time partly because of COVID. Are you staying at the villa or at the hotel? I was very very nervous, to the point where i didn't think I would go through with it. Seeing the results... it's the best thing I ever did. Will you be going with Dr Idris?

I am from Australia and going through a different doctor who is also wonderful. I will stay in self isolation and before and then have the procedure and then go home after and stay in isolation again. But again COVID is such a big thing at the moment it may pushed back which is ok. You look wonderful xx

I got lucky as I didn't have isolate when I returned to the UK. Will you be going to Mono cosmetics? Thank you xx

Yes I will keep this updated. I currently have taping round my nose for 5 days more( to reduce the swelling) once it's off, I'll take some more pictures. All my plasters are off on my breast now and they look amazing. ( they will 'drop and fluff' over time)
