We are at our three month mark and let me say. Yay I have boobs. But, the boobs I paid for and went through so much pain look like I got attacked by an animal from the amount of stretch marks. I was nervous and aware that I was prone to stretch marks prior to surgery, I asked my doctor and nurse if I should be worried, expect it, or do anything to prevent. She was so optimistic and said oh nooo you won’t, and in rare cases they are below the boobs. Now I have tons. On the corner right where V cut shirts and bathing suits show. I’m disappointed because she had me convinced I wasn’t going to get them.

I would recommend start using bio oil it works great on stretch marks and it makes your skin feel so soft you can get it at CVS

I am so sorry to hear that you are disappointed! Personally I think your results look absolutely beautiful -- very symmetrical, wonderful shape and separation. I'm sure the stretch marks are more visible to you than they are to us. As the other commenter noted, bio-oil can help a lot. Another option would be to inquire with a dermatologist that specializes in stretch mark reduction therapy; the Cynosure Icon laser is a popular one you may be able to find in your area. Spot treatment like you might want for small areas (for your V-cut shirts) may be something that would work for you.

Sending lots of positive vibes, your photos look SO great.

Maybe look into HIFU treatment and ultimately fat transfer- whilst it’s not because you want size it’s just that fat is full of stem cells which are known to help heal stretch marks. Ask around if any surgeons who do fat transfer and ask if there is a way to have small amounts of fat transfer for stretch marks rather than filling effects

Your stretch marks have popped up in a weird way. It's not the first time I've seen odd placement stretch marks. It makes sense though bc ultimately your stretching your breast tissue out with implants. Use bio oil, cocoa butter w/vit e or hemp oil. Good luck

Well... I want to rip these things out. I did not expect to be this disabled. The worst part.that is so random and unexpected is the unbearable pain in my neck. every time I go out and walk around my neck hurts horrendously. My right boob is a little higher than the other and is still boxed while the other is more round. I’m hoping they each drop at different rates. I’m just a little unable about the neck and shoulder pain I wasn’t warned about. I’m ready to be healed already.

Have you called your doctor about the shoulder and neck pain? Hang in there it will all be worth it

You look so great! I agree with Original that you should ask your doctor about the shoulder/neck pain. I’d also play around with sleeping levels. There was a time where I had a pinch in my shoulder blade and even in my left breast and my sister had to roll a hand towel and put it in a random spot behind me to fix it. The implants will fall at different rates, I know that from experience, and I know how frustrating and concerning it is at first. As for being kinda non-functional, that is my only gripe! Even when I got cleared to do normal exercises again at 6 weeks, I still wasn’t able to. Stay strong!

It takes time. It is also important to follow doctor's orders implicitly. I tried, but one night (early on) I woke up during the night to go to the restroom. Made the mistake of pushing myself up wit one hand, and boy did I regret it! Pain shot through my breast like a dagger had stabbed me in one breast. Lesson learned. I never did that again. Never had neck pain though. That's a new one! Congratulations dear!

I totally feel you on the neck pain, I had it in my upper back and felt like I was hunching over the icing and stretching really helped. My left is dropping faster than my right and I'm hoping that's just the course like my doctor said. I actually fell on the stairs a couple days ago and use my hands to brace myself and literally thought a ripped the entire implant out, it was terrifying!

Day three hurts

Woke up in a ton of pain. Took meds and I’m feeling better. My shoulders hurt the worst and it’s starting to sting around the incision

Sorry to hear you're in pain. From what others have said, days 2 and 3 can be tough but you're nearly through that. Any tips for things you're finding helpful? Are you using ice / cold packs?

Ice pack helps a good amount, stretching my arms in a dive like position loosen up a lot of the tightness
