I'm 5'8, 160-163lbs, measuring around a 36B. I have 2 kids and tried to breastfeed. Boobs just don't feel full and I'd prefer a fuller size. I'm hoping for a large C or small D cup but as a natural augmentation. I discussed 485 ccs for the procedure. Dr. B will bring a few other sizes in case it doesn't fit in my chest wall.

Day of Surgery

I had my surgery early this morning. Everything went well. I opted to get smaller implants 450ccs (high profile, under the muscle) vs the 485 ccs. I just didn’t want to be too big. I’m 5’8.5” and about 165lbs (today’s weight).
I don’t remember a thing about the surgery. I got home around 10:30 or 11am after a 7:30am surgery. I had pain medication there, but haven’t taken any since. I feel a dull ache and extra tightness. I’m walking around, and can get up without assistance just fine here at home.
Getting the IV hurt the worst for me. I got pricked about 6 times because the nurses couldn’t get a vein. Drink lots of water before your cutoff eat/drink time before your surgery. It may help your veins lol.
I’ve been drinking lots of water and also had a protein smoothie. I’ve increased my protein intake a few weeks before surgery.
Food has not tasted good to me today perhaps because of the medicine in my body. Everything tastes dry and chalky. So I’ll just drink stuff and it tastes just fine.
We’ll see what tomorrow brings pain-wise.

Day 2 is better. I’m still sore and tight but nothing is unbearable. My eyesight for small text is a bit blurry, but I read that it could be due to the patch that they put behind your ear for nausea at surgery. Take it off and wash your hands well.
Ice has helped with the soreness. I have preferred that over pain medication. I plan to do a health detox to rid myself of medication and give my system a boost.
Today, I got to take the bandages off! That made me feel a lot better because I was wrapped up tight. I have the bra on now and I’m more comfortable.
Dr. Bonness and her office sent flowers today! She called and checked on me once to see how I was doing. My experience overall has been great. I look forward to the changes during the healing process.
