I’m not very good at posting updates...
So here’s a smattering of photos from various stages of my post op. I love them.
I had my one week post op appt this past Monday and things are looking good. Dr. Kim took out my stitches (crazy how there’s no pain) and showed me I could massage harder. My next follow up appt is in 3 weeks. He even told me I could start light cardio in 1.5 weeks! He also wants me to start taking 1000mgs of vitamin e daily to help them soften up.
I’m feeling great. I have to wear this sports bra 24/7 for the first month and that’s frustrating cause it’s so bulky, but it will help achieve my final results so I’m all for it. I’m able to drive again, and I’m able to have a drink again! I don’t have any pain really. My incisions are healing nicely so far as well. I’m so happy I did this, I love my boobs!!
I had a video, but for some reason it doesn’t show up when I try and upload it.

Finally feeling somewhat better
Man. These last couple days of recovery have been no joke. It feels like there’s massive bowling balls on my chest. Lots of pressure. So much soreness. The stupid wrap I have to wear around my chin is so itchy. I can’t wait until I’m out of this recovery bit. And I finally understand what morning boob is and I HATE IT. BUT I am feeling somewhat better. Still super sore, but it’s slowly waning. I’ve dialed back on the pain meds, just taking extra strength Tylenol as needed now. Still on the antibiotics. But hey - it’s only supposed to get better, right?!
So day of surgery - I woke up super early and got ready, then twiddled my thumbs. There was no chance I was going to sleep in, but I wish I did.my call time was 11:30am, so my mom and my little sister (they came up to help me) drove me over to Dr. Kim’s office. Arrived and got brought back! My nurse was the sweetest (Nurse Nuu/Nune - again, terrible with names). She took my medical history and then did my blood pressure. Annnnd - normally my blood pressure isn’t anything to worry about, but apparently I was way more anxious/nervous then I felt because my pulse was SKYROCKETING. And so then of course now that I knew it was skyrocketing, I couldn’t lower it. There was a chance I wouldn’t be able to have the surgery, so of course that also didn’t help calm my racing heart. My nurse had another patient she had to discharge, so she had me change into my surgery outfit and gave me time to calm down. And then she came back to take my blood pressure again and I PASSED. Omg the relief. Idk wtf was up with my heart but it really needs to not do that!
So after that was all done, I just had to wait for Dr. Kim to finish the surgery he was in. The anesthesiologist came in and talked to me, he was very friendly, and then Dr. Kim came in. He took my before pictures, we confined what I wanted (I gave him Emily Ratajkowski’s boobs as my final), and then my OR nurse brought me back. The anesthesiologist gave me something that made my muscles feel super heavy and then I don’t remember anything else. Woke up in the recovery room all bandaged up and thirsty AF. Nurse Nune/Nuu gave me water that I didn’t vomit up (woo!) and then I was just in and out of sleep. Before I knew it, I was being wheeled down to my mom.
First night was rough. I think I was out of surgery around 2:30/3? And I couldn’t have my first pain pill until 7 and I could feel it. I could pull my pants up and down, but it def felt like my chest was sliced open! Also needed lots of help with sitting up. That first day was a blur, really. I was in and out of sleep a lot.
Day 2 was still more of the same. Day 3 (today) once I got out of bed, I started feeling better. So slowly but surely, I’m getting there.
Now for the important part: I got 330 high profile sientra gummies on the left, and 385 of the same on the right. As I’ve mentioned before, my left is larger than my right!! I’m so excited with how they look after my first peek today, and I can’t wait to see how they look as they drop and fluff!! Also, bloating is real.
And now, I’m over typing up stuff so until my next update!!
