WORTH IT
Hi everyone! I’ll start by saying, like many of you, I’ve wanted this surgery for ever! I was extremely flat chested all throughout my teen years and up until my first pregnancy.
I didn’t wear anything other than sports bras because I didn’t fill out a normal bra. I have 4 kids and with all their pregnancies I’d get my hopes up and wished my boobs would stick around after breast feeding but I was left with literally nothing. So now, at 34 I’m finally doing it! I am sooooooo so so excited. I found this website about a month ago and it’s been so nice to follow everyone else’s reviews. Now it’s time for mine! I found my doctor through a couple friends who used him for their BA’s. I scheduled my consultation a couple months ago, and had my final appointment today to finalize size. My surgery is December 23 (merry Christmas to me!!!)
I’m 5’5
110lbs
I’m probably a 32A! I’m FLAT!
The pictures I posted are with my sizers in.
325 ccs (I’ll have to look at my paper for the other details. I know they’ll be under the muscle and they’re silicon)

You're going to a dental/oral maxillofacial surgeon for BA? Make sure he's double or even triple Board Certified in Plastic Surgery. There's a difference in cosmetic vs. plastic surgeon. Just figured I'd point that out because I see this info next to his name that you linked. I'll find the RS link about this info. Is this Dr. RealSelf Verified? Good luck.

Oh man! I am lightweight freaking out now. I don’t know how to respond. He is RealSelf Verified and has a 5 star review. And he is board certified but I guess not in Plastic surgery. I’m only a few days away from surgery and I’ve already paid for everything in full. I guess the thing that reassuring for me if that I know 2 women who have had BAs by him, and they look and feel great - They are close family friends so yes I’ve touched their boobs lol From meeting him, he’s been very informative and has made me feel comfortable. I do trust him and his staff to do a great job!

His profile isn't RealSelf Verified. It would have like a blue border/frame stating they verified his info. Have you looked over the few reviews on there? Check IG, Yelp etc. Its surprising like the article I posted; it states most people still go through with these surgeries even after finding out their not highly trained like a plastic surgeon. Keep in mind his revision policy and understand the costs involved if you need anything done. I had healing issues with my BL/BA. Never thought about that part of surgery as I had lots of spitting sutures. Just be careful.

Did they mention to you that when you go under the muscle of the implants will look smaller I was between 365 and 385 I chose 385 but then I was wondering if I should go up one they told me I could go to 415 which I think might look massive but they told me once they settle and swelling goes down it will look like 385

I’m okay with them being a little smaller, I can’t go too big. I’m 5’5 but only weigh between110-115. And my BWM is only 11.

4 DAYS AWAY!!!!

I am so excited to finally do this. It’s all I think about all day long, I know my husband is getting sick of me talking about it lol I have my meds on my night stand, and I bought some zip up sports bras. I’m having really horrible dreams where my Boobs end up being extremely gross and I’m crying and I wake up totally panicked. I’m not second guessing my decision, I’m just worried about the same 1% chance that they don’t drop or that they look like weird circles on my chest.

I’m also worried about recovering and 4 kids. And I’m worried about my husband not helping carry some of the load while I’m down. I guess we’ll wait and see. Thank God I have an amazing mother in-law who already said she’d be over every morning at 8 am for the first 3 days!

I also haven’t told anyone know. The only people who know are my husband, his parents and 1 friend. I don’t see my family a lot so I don’t really feel the need to tell them.

Anyways...ahhhhhhh I’m so excited! I can not believe this is happening, I wish I didn’t wait until I was 34 :( but it’s now or never!! I’m attaching some before pictures. Some when I breast feed and my boobs got huge! I’m hope they end up being just as big or bigger

I am supposed to get mine on Monday! Same as you, super flat all my life but pretty much nothing after three kids. I am 36, BW 11cm and getting Natrella 265cc HP soft touch. Hope it isn’t too small, but with such a narrow breast width my other choice was 310cc extra high profile which I don’t want. Good luck, hope it goes great for you!

Awww, thank you! My first Choice was the 265 HP but I knew I wanted bigger. They probably would have been fine but I’m paying so much money for them, I don’t want to go back in a few years to make them bigger lol so we decided on the 325, I felt the “yes this is it” when I tried those on! Good luck on your, I’ll follow along, I can’t wait to see your results!

How big did you get while breast feeding? Mine got enormous (like D cup) then shrunk down to nothing. The difference is insane.

Is there anything you wish you would have had on hand or some piece of advice for the week following surgery?! I’m getting so excited. Surgery is 4 days away. I have my meds and bras. But what else am I missed for a speedy recovery?

One piece of advice that I got was that there is no speedy recovery. Just one that goes well. Listen to your body and trust the recovery process and all will be well!

Hello!! I would suggest a travel pillow for your neck, since you have to sleep elevated for about two weeks. Also my doc gave me the option to prescribe me anti constipation pills, buy prune juice or toughen it out lol. Lastly doctors preference but he asked that I take arnica pills for bruising, I didn’t bruise at all. They’re almost like tiny mints that melt in your mouth.
