I feel so lucky (or maybe I psyched myself out so much thinking that this would be the worst pain ever), I have not had any pain at all so far. I take my muscle relaxer and Tylenol but haven’t taken one prescribed pain med. I also have been taken VitaMedica Recovery Support + Arnica herbal supplements that I think are helping out. I still haven’t experienced any bruising or swelling. I am loving my breasts, they are the perfect size for my slim-athletic frame. My right breast (which needed a lift) feels a lot higher than my left, I’m hoping that this is something that will change as my breast begin to drop to and fluff. So far I feel like these will end up looking natural, that it will be hard for people to be able to tell that I had implants.
I was able to go to my 16-year-old’s playoff game tonight with no issues at all. I was scared having surgery two days before the big game but I made it through the whole game without pain.
I purchased a 45 degree angle memory foam pillow on Amazon and it has been really helpful to sleep on. The first night was a little uncomfortable, but after that it’s been enjoyable.

Day 1
So I really haven’t had any pain (taking a muscle relaxer and Tylenol only) or bruising yet. I slept fine through the night, except the 45 degree wedge pillow isn’t agreeing with my back. I am praying that the little to no pain stays this way, fingers crossed. So far I am happy with my results as they aren’t super large (was looking for a very natural look). I am not supposed to lift my arms so I cannot take a side profile picture today. From the side they look a lot bigger than they do from the front. I am excited to see how they change over the next few months.

Terrified and Excited
I have a 16-year-old as well as a 17-month-old and have been considering a breast augmentation since I had my first child (I actually scheduled and cancelled a breast augmentation 14 years ago). I realized that my boobs weren’t horrible after my first child and that I could live with them, but after having my second child at the age of 36 my boobs definitely needed a little pick me up. I decided to do a consultation and scheduled an appointment about four weeks later. Every day prior to the operation I debated cancelling, I was so terrified that I would somehow die on the operating table (overly anxious, I know). I finally decided to go through with the operation on 2/21/24 and I can tell you I was sweating bullets in triage. The nurse, anesthesiologist, and surgeon helped to calm my nerves and once they put the mask on me I was out. I woke up to the nurse telling me my friend was there to pick me up. My pain has been minimal on my first day and so far I’ve been able to use Tylenol (I am only going to take the prescribed pain meds if I cannot tolerate the pain with Tylenol). I have no clue what CC’s I got as I know I needed two different sizes as my right breast was bigger than my left - we originally settled on 285cc on my left breast and 260cc on my right, but I faintly remember the nurse telling me that they ended up going with 235cc on my right because it ended up being a lot bigger than the other breast (I will double check this at my appointment tomorrow as it could have been a dream while I was out). I also had my right breast lifted.
My measurements prior to the operation:
5’7”
150lbs (athletic build)
36B
