Amazing Results Already on Day 1!! I Am Shocked

I had a breast augmentation today! My first time ever having surgery. I am 5ft 7, 138 pounds and I got 540cc moderate plus profile implants above the muscle. I lost 40 pounds on Mounjaro this year and that left me with flattened deflated breasts at the top. Now that I am at my goal weight I wanted to do something nice for myself and restore the volume I lost. I was SO nervous about going under general anesthesia and the thought of maybe not waking up after, but the anesthesiologist reassured me that with her 24 years experience with complex patients she was confident with me being healthy that things would be fine. I still asked her to give me the least amount possible. The preop nurse who gave me the initial medications also was so incredibly kind and a welcome distraction from my nerves.
Dr Mabourakh came in and held my hand and reassured me that things would be great. He was so kind and comforting in that moment I needed it most.
Once the Nurse injected the versed to calm me all I remember is them saying we will walk to the surgical room soon… I don’t remember anything else other than waking up and wondering when we are going to walk to the OR and looking down realizing it was all done!!
Dull ache in the breast area 4/10 pain scale. Took half a pain pill when I got home and that knocked it down to a 1/10. Ate some yogurt and drank some Gatorade and took a 3 hour nap. Now I’m up walking around making phone calls feeling great. But reminding myself to take it easy. I have no doubt I’ll be able to go to work without issue in a week.
I am shocked, shook and pleasantly surprised! They already feel like my own. It’s crazy. This experience has already been so impressively easy and I just cannot believe it. The picture is day 1 6 hours after surgery concluded. Dr M is positively amazing. He and his team don’t just perform surgery they are artists and I’m so thankful for them and for this outcome. I feel so much more comfortable in my skin now. I feel restored and that’s an amazing feeling.

Day 2 update
TravelGirl8August 28, 2024
I just wanted to post an update. I am not dealing with any postoperative bloating, which was another concern of mine. I did start stool softeners the week before the procedure so I think that helped. My appetite has been normal and the pain is between a 2/3 out of ten. I have been told I have a high pain tolerance though so keep that in mind. I plan on just seeing if Tylenol will be sufficient today. I had a few spots of blood underneath where the incisions were but the office has called to check on me both days and I was reassured that is normal.
I am so glad I chose Dr M and his staff to enhance me. I was getting so depressed about the sagging and loss of volume, it was making me feel older than I am and now I feel like me again. I knew from the consult he was the right choice for me and I’m glad I went with my gut. I had 1 other consult and that first one I could tell right away was not the right choice for me.
I’m hoping my posts help others on their journey to restoration or enhancement.
Oh, and if you have bead hair extensions you have to have them removed before surgery, can’t wait to get mine back in on Friday lol once you have them they are kind of addicting.

Night 2 and Day 3 update!
TravelGirl8August 29, 2024
Night 2/Day 3 update. Woke up with a lot of pressure in the “ side boob” area at about 3 am. About a 5/10 on the pain scale, so I did take a half of a pain pill again and used an ice pack a little. So far today Tylenol has been enough and I am feeling good about 1/2 out of 10 on pain but mild pressure and stretching present. Wondering if I should be using cocoa butter to prevent stretch marks?.. I’ve seen advice for and against so I will do more research. Breasts are definitely already starting to move or drop a tiny little bit, maybe just be a reduction in swelling. I was told this could happen more rapidly since my procedure was above the muscle. Also having air bubble sensations like tiny soft bubbles coming up like fish tank bubbles .. only way I can think to get describe it. From what I have read that’s normal so I’m not going to let it concern me. Just wanted to share in case others experience the same thing. Just briefly changed into something sheer to illustrate how they are sitting and immediately put back on the surgical bra. Trying to stay compliant to get the best outcome! Fingers crossed the “ drop” of the drop and fluff isn’t too extreme. I had some ptosis before and hope not to have too much now. ????I’ll post again after my 1 week post op unless something out of the ordinary happens, then I’ll post sooner.
