Petite 5ft 96lbs 250cc HP, Worried About Size!

WORTH IT$5,800
I had my consult last October and left confident that I’d be a 275 or 300 cc for a natural looking result.

Went back today to try the sizers again and left feeling panicked about what to do! I tried the 300s again, and was horrified at how big they looked. Then tried the 275s and they weren’t much better. Finally tried on the only 250s they had, which were moderate plus (still way to wide on me). They didn’t have any 250 hp sizers, so I don’t know what to do. Should I risk going with a size without ever trying them on? Surgery is scheduled for Feb 6 so the implants have to be ordered asap (like I need to have a decision by tomorrow).

I just want cute proportionate breasts! I’m petite and like having a small frame, the 275 and 300 made me look heavier, like I instantly looked like I weighed 10 lbs more. Friends are all telling me I should stick with 275 to make it worth it… and I know they’ll look smaller once under the muscle. But I’ve looked though tons of pics of women trying on sizers and their “after” pics didn’t look too far off.

Please let me know what you think!! I’m including pics from today. Thanks so much!

Will update as I go through this process so other petite women can hopefully see my pictures in order to help them.

Really want 250cc HP

Here is a before pic. Just got off the phone with the doctor. I was crying when he told me I couldn’t go any smaller than 275 hp. He said if I went with 250cc ho it may not fill my breasts enough and I’d need another procedure later to fix it. I know he’s the expert but I’m confused because I’ve always had small breasts and figured ANY implant will stretch the skin out further than it is now. For reference I am 42 and maybe that’s part of the problem. My skin may react differently to being stretched than a younger person’s.
We left it that I can choose what I want, but for me to understand that going with 250 may require a second procedure. I’m so upset because I absolutely hated how I looked in 275 and 300. That is NOT the look I’m going for.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. I am he’s ily leaning towards going with my gut and choosing the 250cc HP that I really want.

I just got 270cc in one and 300cc in the other. I was in the same boat as you. I wanted MAX 255cc. I’m 10 days post op. Some days they feel too large but they’re still pretty swollen. No one has been able to tell at work that I’ve had them done (I’m wearing mostly sweaters/scrubs) and I can still fit into my XS/s sports bras and clothes which is exactly what I wanted. My stats were 5’3. 105lb. 32-34 A

Also, just to add. You look some CC’s when you go under the muscle so it will be a bit smaller than trying on sizers.

Thank you for sharing. I just look at my pictures in the 275 sizers and it is just not even within a light year of the look I’m going for. I feel like I look so top heavy and matronly compared to the pic of me just in my push up bra for comparison. I’ve seen so many pics of women in sizers and they look really good/proportional- sometimes I have to double check that they are evn wearing sizers vs their after pics because it looks so good on them!

Compare that to how ridiculous I look with the sizers on. I know it will be smaller but I’d like to be half of how I look in the sizers. Even taking into consideration that they shrink under the muscle, I just feel like it’s still so far outside of what my goals are.

First off- congrats!!! I feel like all this stress will fade once I get the surgery over with. I went from months of excitement to now dreading my surgery because I was so spooked at how I looked at my pre op. Just curious what made you decide on that size vs the 250 you planned on?

That’s great that it’s not so drastic that folks are noticing when you don’t want them to. I’m not telling people (family is very judgmental) so only hubby and a few close friends know. I want to be able to “hide” then when I want to, and show them off when I want to… which sounds like is the sweet spot you’ve got!

Yeah I think it’s really important to be firm on what you want. But at the same token trust you PS (as long as you know they have great results and can be trusted etc). I said I wanted 250cc and max 275cc after trying on sizers, but ended up with 270L/305R MP+. At first I was so freaked out, upset, having big regrets. They were so swollen and so massive. I’m 2 weeks post op now. Some days I still wish I had gotten 255/275 but other days I know 20cc’s really doesn’t change much. I’m glad I trusted my PS because they look so good so far. I told him the morning of surgery I was nervous placing all my trust in him, given that this is such an expensive and permanent change in my body. But so far have no regrets. I think if you have specific goals, and have show pictures etc. and your plastic surgeon is listening, then trust his judgement. If it feels like he’s saying he can make you look better with a bigger size but it won’t be your goals, I think you should get a second opinion! Best of luck!!

I fitted 315-375 during a consult and thought the 375 would look best after fitting the implant into my bra. I chose another doc and showed him my inspiration pics and he recommended I go with 445. I was super nervous because that sounded huge to me. I'm 5 weeks post now and some days I wonder if I went too small. But the size he recommended fits my body so well you can't really tell I got an augmentation. The 25 ccs shouldn't matter as much as you think. I've heard that multiple times when researching before my procedure. It's really hard to tell the difference between that amount of ccs at the end of the day. I would let your surgeon know what you're hesitant and see his reasoning but I believe you should be fine. Maybe have some inspiration pics to show as well.

I’m so glad you ended up with the best size for you!! Just looked at your pics and I think you made the right choice. Yours are perfect and really look amazing on you!

I’m struggling to “trust” my surgeon in the sense that I’ve realized I don’t think they deal with many petite women or women wanting to go with a more conservative look. They seemed avast that I’d even want anything below 300 and didn’t even have 250 sizers. I think they’re so accustomed to women wanting much more drastic results that they thing I’m making a mistake for wanting something smaller. I just don’t have the same goals and body type as the majority of their patience (for reference I mostly shop in the girls section to find tops that fit me because I’m so petite. My favorite t shirt is a girls size 7/8). So think about how a typical breast implant will look on a frame that small. My surgeon’s office just doesn’t seem to understand that and it’s really giving me cold feet.

He’s known in our area to be a top pick so I trust his expertise in the actual surgical area, just not on understanding what’s best for someone like me who’s body type and goals aren’t the norm. I’ve also already paid upfront…
January 19, 2024
Ahh I understand. Yes in that case I would definitely be firm with them on that feeling. I am wondering if your surgeon would have any photos of petite cases to show (and if not I would emphasize why you’re wanting to lean closer to the 250 because that would better match your frame which is something they don’t do often and may seem foreign to them).

At the end of the day it’s your body and you need to go with what you’re comfortable with. Good luck! I’m sure your results will be lovely. And thank you so much for your kinds words on my journey.

Hi! I don't know what you ended up choosing but I got 250ccs in both breasts and I am very happy with them! It's been 13 years and I have never felt they were too small. I am so happy I didn't go larger. My only thing is I wish I didn't get HP. I didn't want them to stick out and would like it if they were a little wider, but that has to do with MY body type. I am 5' 115lbs.

Oh my gosh thank you so much for your reply!! I am heavily leaning towards the 250’s, but it’s so hard not being able to try them on to get an idea of how they’d look on me. They had 250 mod plus which I did try and they were way to wide on me, sticking way out to my armpits. So I think the narrower HPs would be my best bet.

By any chance do you have before and after pictures? I have yet to find a single person my height who got 250 HP! I am not completely flat but definitely don’t have a whole lot of breast tissue. I had a before pic which I took down, and I think I’ll post another one.

Again, thank you so much for your response! This is so nerve wracking that it’s honestly sucked all the excitement I had right out :-(

The surgeon said I could let them know Monday. I know I will feel so much better once I make the decision.

Here is my before pic (ignore my messy morning hair). Again, I am strongly leaning towards 250cc HP mentor smooth round implants, the surgeon suggests no smaller than 275 (but I felt too big in those sizers).
My under bust is between 26.5 and 27 (I measured twice but must not have the tape in the right place to get 2 different numbers) and a BWD measured by the surgeon of 11-11.5 (when I measure myself I get closer to 11). I’m really 4’11 and 1/2 but I usually just round up to 5 ft. Weight fluctuates between 93-98 lbs. I’m 42 and have breastfed 4 babies.

Go to the bigger size. The sizers aren't that accurate they make you look way bigger than they'll actually be. 95% of women wish they went bigger. Either way the two CC's you're talking about aren't going to make that much of a noticeable difference anyway.

Ive heard/read that from some women, but I’ve also read women who wished they’d gone a bit smaller. I think there really are so many different women with varying body types, lifestyles, and body goals.

I’ve already called and told the surgeon 250 high profile, and I’m really happy with my decision. Ive poured over so many pictures of women close to my size who got 275cc and almost every single one ended up with a D or DD cup… and they look absolutely gorgeous and I’m so happy they got the body of THEIR dreams by going with that size… but for me and what my goals are for my body is something much smaller. I’d be very happy with a full B or small C. The pictures I’ve been able to find of women who did 250 are much closer to the results I’m hoping for, for my body and my lifestyle. I’m super nervous still, but hopeful that I’ll get the results I’m aiming for! We’ll see in 11 days… eeeek!!!!

Congrats on sticking with your wishes and going with the 250cc! I’m so excited for you. I agree, in my research I saw a ton of women who wished they had gone smaller! I got the 270/305cc and if they get any bigger as they “drop and fluff” I’m definitely going to wish he had done the 255cc we had talked about as well! I can assure you I definitely don’t wish I had gone any bigger! So I think you’ll be very happy with your decision. Best of luck!!

Thank you jsilva! Once the stress of choosing a size was over, I have finally gotten back to being excited again! How are you doing? How’s the recovery going? I’m sure adjusting to the size is going to take time… I bet they look amazing! Are they already starting to drop and fluff?

Yay I’m so happy you’re excited again! I remember the weeks before I was a roller coaster. I’d go from being 100% on board and excited one day, to questioning everything and being so worried about changing my body the next. Now being on the other side I am so so happy about it. So far so good! Pain is pretty much completely gone. Just a few muscle spasms here or there and I can tell when I’ve stretched my arms in a new way but it’s not bad at all. I’m cleared to start working okay again tomorrow and am so ready for some physical exercise. For the first 3 weeks I’ve just been walking about 2 miles a day but keeping my HR low. The drop and fluff started after day 3. They were sooo “square” looking on day 3 and so freaking swollen. I was having doubts for sure. By day 8 I really saw them starting to round out and drop. Every day they’re changing. Week 3 post op is tomorrow and they’re no longer up to my collar bone and they’re getting squishier every day. I just posted my review and pics and plan to do a 3 week update sometime this week! Good luck with everything!!

Would love to read your review and follow your recovery! It must not have been approved yet, or is it posted under a different name?

Also, how did you change your username? When I made this account I didn’t think I’d be posting anything, so this username I have can identify me and I’d really like to change mine as well.

Glad your recovery is going well and that you feel good about your decision! Can’t wait to be on the other side too!
