I just got my surgery done today and will be posting updates of how it’s going day by day. They put me under “twilight anesthesia” and I remember absolutely nothing of the procedure. General anesthesia makes me violently sick and nauseous so I’m really glad I did not throw up after this procedure! Today when immediately out of surgery, I was just feeling a lot of of tightness and pressure.

Why did you choose him over others in the area? I was looking at Hurwitz and my surgery is scheduled or Monday but I'm still hesitant.

I’m going to add my pre-op pictures here as well as a picture from today, was too drowsy yesterday.
I feel absolutely TERRIBLE today. I guess yesterday wasn’t so bad because I was coming out of anesthesia but today, the tightness along with the terrible pain in my upper back is pretty bad. Sometimes I’ll get muscle twitches which is unsettling but not painful. My nipples are pretty numb and I am getting weird sharp pains when I graze them with my robe.
I was only given five Percocet for the pain to take every 4-6 hours, and just took my last one about 2 hours ago. Dr. Mccafferty’s staff called me today to see how I was doing which was nice, and I asked them if I would we able to take Tylenol once the Percocet are gone. She said yes, so that’s what I’ll be doing from here on out! I’ve been using a lot of ice as well, and it seems to help a little bit.

Over or under muscle? Saline or silicone?
