Hi everyone! I’m excited to say I officially have breast implants! This has been a dream of mine since I was 14 years old. All the females on my mom’s side of the family are blessed with double D’s or bigger and well I’m not???? my surgery date is 11/22/17. I’m 5’7 172 lbs. I’m a mom of a 20 m/o girl.

Day 4 recovery/I’m worried I may not be the size I want.

magben
Today is Sunday 11/26/17, day 4 of my recovery phase. I developed a hematoma on my right breast yesterday so I am going in tomorrow to have my PS see me. The pain associated with the hematoma is worse than being in labor, I kid you not. I was shaking and my teeth were chattering from how intense the pain was. Everyone makes the recovery period seem so easy and smooth BUT honestly it’s not! I have the best husband in the world! He has been taking care of me and our 20 month daughter since I came out of surgery, without any complaints. Anyways...my goal has always been to be a double D but I don’t look like a double D. My surgical bra says 36 D! I want to cry. I’m 5’7 172lbs. I got 520 cc’s moderate plus implants. I feel like I wasted my money???????? I don’t know what to do. I thought I was VERY clear when I said my goal is double D’s. Any advice? I will post pics as well. I can’t take the surgical tape off so sorry if that is in the way.

your implants are problem still quite high, your breasts are still in tape, which will make them appear smaller, once they start dropping they will start to look bigger. I would not worry, give it 3-6 months to let them settle and your problem be over the moon with them!!

I hope you are right bc right now I’m not feeling my new boobs. I don’t understand why my surgical bra would say 36D. Everyone keeps saying I don’t look like I’m a double D. At best a full C small D. I will get answers tomorrow at my post op appointment. Thanks for the encouragement

Girl I was a 36 DD and just got reduced to 36 C .My surf was 11/10/17. All I can tell you is it is way too soon to see final results. My girls are still in softening phase and I am 17 days post op. And yes the pain is real! I also had to w muscle repair and lipo at the same time.

Its too soon. You just got them done so they are high but just from the last photo on this pic set I can tell they are going to be huge once they drop.

Recovery Day 5/Hematoma setback

magben
I’m sorry I am behind on my updates. This picture is from Day 5 of my recovery. I went to see my PS on day 5, 11/27/17, and he confirmed I have a hematoma in my upper right breast. He said he does not want to wait for my body to try and absorb it bc it could potentially lead to capsular contracture. We would have a whole new set of problems to deal with, so I agreed to have him reopen the right incision, remove the implant, drain the built up blood, clean the pocket and reinstall the implant. I would only pay for anesthesia and OR costs. He also removed the surgical tape which made me really happy. I also voiced my concern about being too small and not potentially reaching my goal of double D’s. He told me I’m still very swollen and to wait till the swelling has gone down and we can reassess from there. I took more post OP photos now that I finally have the surgical tape off. ????
