1 week post op!

Doc took off the dressings and stitches. The scar is healing a lot nicer than I thought.

First post op today!

Doc removed the gauze under the sports bra and instructed daily massage to stretch the bottom of the boobs out. Felt more pain on the right incision cut today.

Post surgery (hours after)

That surgery was a breeze! Much smoother than I was nervous for. The nurses and doctors were all nice and reassuring. I don’t even remember knocking out and before I knew it, I woke up and everything was done (1:40ish pm). They gave me a painkiller before I left and all I felt was tightness in my chest, like most people said, and limited movement in my arms.

We talked about 250-275ccs but doc ended up using 280s. They look really big right now but I’m excited to see the end result or when they start fluffing out more. I trust Dr. Park so I’m not too worried about them, as they’re still fresh and swollen. The incisions I have near my armpit are not from the breast procedure. He threw in a complimentary liposuction near my armpits as he called them “knuckles”, not mad at that but it’s gratis so ??????

It’s been 6 hours since I’ve left and I felt the initial pain killer wear off. I ate some soup and took my pills at 6 pm. I took one painkiller at 6 but decided to take another one just before 7 (I’m allowed to take two within a 6 hour time frame.) They’re slowly starting to kick back in. Still have tightness in my chest but a little more than before. I’d say the pain is under a 5 for me. Hopefully it stays like that and doesn’t worsen. My first post op meeting with Dr. Park is Thursday.
