INITIAL CONSULTATION:
On June 16, I went to my first ever BA consultation. I was pretty set on seeing Dr. John Park from the get go. I browsed around for other surrounding doctors but none of them stood out as much as Dr. Park.
Upon my consultation, I was pretty nervous. I brought a friend with me for support. From the start, Dr. Park gave off good vibes. He was very forward and informative, none of the salesman pitch/ pushy BS. I hd brought my laptop along with me to show him my wish photos and what I didn't want. I'm a 34A, 110 lbs, 5 ft— looking to move up 1 cup size. Dr. Park showed me a chart with the different sizes and profiles that is ideal, depending on current breast width/size and body build. We then proceeded with the sizers, which I found very helpful. I tried the 150cc and 250cc for size. I left the office feeling well informed. We discussed going for at least 250cc silicone gel, which would put me at a full B. Though I'm not opposed for something slightly bigger, but under 300cc.
On June 28th, I called and booked my surgery date and 2nd pre-op. My pre-op (July 26) is a week ahead of surgery day (August 2). I'm so nervous and excited! I got one week approved off of work to recover. Hopefully I'll be well enough to work by then. Will be back to update post 2nd pre-op!

Congrats!! From personal experience I'm so glad you didn't go too big. I did my first time around and actually am currently in recovery only one year late from a reduction and lift. Kudos to you for knowing and listening to your inner self! Recovery is better than you'd think. Most pain, in my opinion, is gone in two days. The hardest part is that you still have to be very careful with how you use your arms and no lifting for several weeks. Hoping you have a job that can accommodate that. If so, you'll be fine!!

Thank you! I'm so excited but of course nervous too. I haven't heard too many bc experiences on the recovery and pain and hope I fall under that group with speedy recovery!
