Mini Boob New BA; Mentor Moderate Plus 150cc, 5'6 105 Lbs Post Surgery - 3 Day Post Op update
My recovery is going extremely well! My implants were done over the muscle so they didn't have to cut into my muscles (if you can do it this way, it is the way to go)!!! I had enough tissue but this helps so much.
You can see from my photos that you can barely see the incisions under my breasts. There were no drains, no stitches to get removed.
Hopefully these are helpful.

The day of the surgery was a breeze for the most part. My surgeon ended up going with 150 cc (smaller than what we thought with the 170 - 205 range). Before surgery, I told her to go with the most natural. I was a little surprised when she told me she went with 150 (Mentor MemoryGel Smooth Moderate High Profile Xtra) since it was smaller than what we discussed but as you can see from the Day 1 photos, they look huge (for me)! She did an over-the-muscle procedure. Based on my size, I guess this is referred to a min boob job if it is under 200 cc. I know the swelling will go down and they will settle, so I'm honestly not really even paying much attention to them other than giving them lots of care. I will post additional updates in a few days.
My recovery so far has been fairly easy. I really only need the Tylenol and Ibuprofen and ice. I have to remind myself to take it easy. Separately, I was really diligent about eating well and very healthy before surgery. I had read others comments that the anesthesia caused constipation. This is NO JOKE! I had even taken stool softeners in advance and I wished I had taken more. Ask your doctor.
The wedge pillow that others posted about was super helpful!

8/8/2023 I found this site so incredibly helpful for me that I wanted to post on my own experience. First, a huge thank you to all of the women who have taken time to share you own stories and journey!
Background: I am 51 and I am about a large A, cup small B, you can judge for yourself, I am really unsure:) I wanted a VERY natural look so that no one would really know except me and a few friends who were excited to go on this journey with me. My breasts looked like the air was out of the tires. I just wanted to have them a little bigger and fill out what I had.
After several consults with my surgeon (she was great) we landed on a Mentor moderate plus silicone between 170 up to 205 max. This was based on my frame and diameter of around 10. I had read about some women who went small had a little boob envy could have gone bigger, so last minute I was wondering if I should go to my higher range but I told her to use her judgement on the most natural (I emphasized natural A LOT).
I have attached before photos. I am having surgery this week and I will post. I'm excited and nervous!
